We had the distinct honor of welcoming Dr. Pei-Hua Chen, MD, PhD from Taiwan, who spent some days to observe polytrauma management. It was a privilege to host them at the Department of Trauma Surgery / Unfallchirurgie USZ, where we exchanged insights on cutting-edge advancements in trauma care. This visit not only strengthened our commitment to advancing medical practice but also highlighted the importance of international collaboration in the ongoing evolution of traumatology. Dr. Chen is planning a new longe visit and we look forward to further strengthening our global network of experts and fostering impactful partnerships that shape the future of healthcare.

The 7th Swiss Orthogeriatric Day (OGD) im USZ, September 2025 ein hervorragend organisierter Kongress vonseiten Prof. Johannes Bastian (Universitätsklinik für Orthopädie Chirurgie und Traumatologie Inselspital Bern), Prof. Hans-Christoph Pape (Universitätsspital Zürich USZ, Klinik für Traumatologie) und Dr. Gregor Freystätter (Stadtspital Triemli, Geriatrie). Inspirierend rund um das Thema - Wie den Gordischen Knoten lösen? Danke an über 150 Teilnehmer, die ans USZ kamen. Das war ein lobenswertes intensives Teamwork.
