In my work with clients, I’m often struck by how many people carry the quiet belief that they’re not enough.
Not capable.
Not safe to be themselves.
Not allowed to want more, receive more, or experience miracles.
These beliefs were shaped by the families we grew up in, the cultures we’re part of, the systems we were taught to trust, and the stories we’ve been told.
But one simple thing can begin to change those stories and dissolve those limits:
Compassion — for ourselves.
If you grew up not being seen, not being comforted, or not being allowed to fully be yourself, it makes sense that it might feel hard now to see yourself clearly, to comfort yourself or to create from a place of authenticity.
