Our inner critic tells us to be perfect all the time. "You should do better, try harder, do not give up, do not complain, do not bother other people, etc."

Depending on your story and the way you were socialized and brought up, your inner critic gets formed and makes sure that you are successfull and loved in life. So thst inner critic serves us in a good way too and wants us to be better.

However, this inner critic tends to exagerate and is usually anxious and so scared that you could fail that he is too extreme.

In my sessions I help my clients to get to know their inner critic better.

Abundance all over and around us!
When I think about what it is that I enjoy in my life, a lot of simple things come to my mind. For example I enjoy a lot feeling the sun on my skin and lying on the beach. Also I enjoy being outside and breathing fresh air and listening to the sounds of nature.

Moreover, I enjoy being activ and move my body, running and doing sports.

All those things are for free. There are so many wonderful things that I enjoy and I do not need a single cent for that.

Society makes us belive that we need money to be happy and buy the things that give us joy. So in order to get that money we believe we have to work hard. Well, do you see the manipulation?

Once you realize that the things that give you most joy are for free, you do not need so much money and can actually be free and work less.

What is it that makes you happy? Is it expensive or maybe even for free too?

You only have this one life. Do you want to waste it with a job that you don't like or doing what does not make you happy?

You deserve to enjoy your life every minute. You are the one that creates a better life. Take responsibility for your happiness and do not wait any longer for some miracle or somebody to rescue you. Do not find excuses anymore for your fears to prevent you from finally being free and happy.

I know it is not easy to let go fears and to overcome those boundaries of your limiting beliefs and the expectations of society. However, if you want to change something you need to push yourself and risk something. And trust me: It is totally worth it you will not regret it.

We are all looking for love. That is our basic purpose right? Do you finally want to be loved and have a fulfilling relationship too?

You do not have to work hard in order to deserve love. You deserve love no matter what you do.

If you want to finally find your soulmate and love of your life, stop thinking that you need to try harder or perform better.

Just be you, do what you like and be nice to yourself, then you will attract the right partner.

Do this to get out of survival mode!
When we are stressed our body reacts with the release of cortisol and adrenaline and this puts our nervous system into a fight or flight mode. This means we are highly alert and ready to run.

In former times when we had a tiger running after us this was highly useful. So our energy flows into our muscles and not into digestion nor breathing deeply nor sleeping.

However, now many of us are stressed over a longer period of time and this causes then problems like sleeping problems or digestion problems etc. In order to calm down that nervous system and give ourselves a feeling of security, there are some simple excercises you can do.

One of this is to breathe deep in your belly. Or you can do one that will activate your vagus nerve which is really simple. Lie down and cross your fingers behind your head with the elbows lying down on your bed and look 2min to the right with both eyes and then to the left...you will notice when you relax immediately.

What is your most dominant love language?

There are 5 languages of love. Everyone has different ways to show their love to their partner.

Moreover, not everyone understands the same language when it comes to feel loved and express their love.

What is your love language?
Do you feel loved most when you get a present or do you prefer to be touched?

It is important to know your love language and the love language of your partner.

If you are dissappointed that your partner never tells you how much he loves you, maybe he speaks another love language.

Maybe he shows his love more by physical touch. He might give you a little kiss when walking past you and hold your hand in the streets.

Or he might show it with acts of service like cleaning the flat when you are super busy or doing the grocery shopping for you.

I finally found a home for a while again. After being moving around every 2 or 3 weeks for the last year I got really exhausted and almost burned out from this never having a home anymore.

It was really interesting but really also making me seek for a base again. I realized thst having to plan the next move all the time is not what I want.

So I really needed a place where I feel home again and can just rest for a while at least. My body and soul were asking me to get into a comfort zone again. And as I know Mexico well I decided to be here now for at least 6 months.

It was really challenging for me to commit to a 6 months lease for an appartment though. But I forced myself to do it even though I felt stressed taking this commitment. I know can focus on resting, healing and making friends and building community again. That is something I really missed while travelling too fast.

What are your thoughts about this? Are you also more of a slow traveller or into more adventurous fast travelling?

Sometimes life treats us hard and we feel lost. Especially then we get the feeling that we need to have a plan and get control back.

However, this usually doesn‘ t help at all. The more we want to change the situation and are fighting against the present moment, the harder it gets and the more we get lost and disconnected.

Do you feel bad when you are lazy and not productive some days? Is your inner critic telling you that you are not good enough when you do nothing?

I do allow myself to be lazy and that is ok. Try to do the same.

Some days you might just feel tired or crumpy and do not want to be functioning the way you usually are.

THAT IS TOTALLY NORMAL AND OK!

Enjoy it and do not listen to the voice in your head that is saying that you should be doing something productive and useful.
Tell that voice that it is very useful to rest and load the batteries.

Cats are in the here and now. They do not get lost in their thoughts in the past or in the future but are fully relaxed and in the very moment. That is probably why they are so calm and chilled.

You can also be in peace and in control of your thoughts by observing them instead of being controled by them. All you need to do is observe what is there.

Observe your breath, observe what you feel, how your body feels, what thoughts you have and what you hear, smell and feel. That is meditation.

However, it is important to observe and not tryibg to change anyrhing and most important: do not judge anything. Just observe. Everything is allowed to come up and you just observe amd let it pass by.
