LIMINALITY
We are deeply in the season of Metal, embraced by transforming shades of gold before they fall to the ground in a form of leaves ready to nourish the soil through the winter.
Metal in ancient Chinese Medicine IS meant as gold: the most precious mineral formation in between the rocks. Metal element is our lungs, allowing us to invite what is around us by breathing in. It is also in our large intestine, allowing us to release and let go. And it is in our skin, allowing us to have a borderline between the inside and outside, allowing us to connect, to relate, to have form and boundaries.
Metal is precision cutting through the chaos without a hostile move made. We breathe deeply into this, soothing anxiety, and we drop in, to the spaciousness of inner sanctuary. We’re supported in making our boundaries clear and holding them fortified, not to hold ourselves apart but as a way to hold sacred our own inner peace.
The internal space we hold is holy. Within this temple that is centered, clear state, we are able to beam the light with a radiance of truth and compassion. Along with the nature we are slowing down and breathing deeper as we are moving through this liminal space, faithful of the unknown ahead of us.
