I am absolutely not making this up🤣😁
While working with patients as a holistic manual therapist, my brain had one main struggle: staying in "professional healthcare mode" while actually working with humans whose bodies tell very different stories.
It's something that happens ALL the time and believe me, I love it.
And through manual therapy sessions (visceral work, diaphragm release, neck work) combined with nervous system regulation and breath awareness, I get pulled into this very specific state where bodywork meets... life randomness.
And the absolute kicker about this kind of work?
You leave thinking you've been deep in fascia and autonomic regulation...
and then your brain stores this:
-where to get the best tomato seedlings🍅
-how to start a chicken farm🐥
-which rösti recipe is the only correct one🥔
-the best places to surf in May🏄
-how much a boat parking spot on Zugersee costs⛵
I'm honestly convinced the nervous system integrates information in the most chaotic-but-brilliant way possible when you're fully present in your work.
And weirdly?
That's also part of the point when the body is regulated, there's space for everything... including completely random but oddly useful life facts.
