A new chapter begins for SteelcoBelimed.

Earlier this month, we celebrated the official opening of our Innovation Hub in Zug, Switzerland. A center fully dedicated to advancing research and development in AI-driven and EHD technologies and humanoid robotics.

Safe reprocessing starts with trained professionals.

Jan Huijs experienced this firsthand in 1982, working as a medical equipment technician in the operating theatre of a mission hospital in Ghana. Back in the Netherlands, he founded HEART Consultancy in 1994, focusing on sterilization of medical supplies.

Over the years, he developed both a comprehensive training program for technicians and CSSD staff and the book that became its foundation, used worldwide, from Africa to Asia.

Today, the 4th edition, published in cooperation with SteelcoBelimed, remains an essential manual on instrument reprocessing, covering everything from pre-cleaning to sterilization and storage.

The SteelcoBelimed edition of Jan Huijs book reached Lima, Peru, during the XIII Congreso Panamericano de Esterilización Hospitalaria.

Our visit to Peru has been an absolutely great experience and Jan was there with us.
People were warm and happy, greeting us both at the Congress and during our visits to the various hospitals' CSSDs in the area!

Within the area of sterile supply in Latin America there is great eagerness for education, transformation, and improvement. We feel honored that the book can play a role in this process!

Looking forward to presenting it around the world.
