SteelcoBelimed US celebrated a major milestone with a ribbon cutting to officially open its newly renovated, state-of-the-art SteelcoBelimed Academy US training facility in Charleston, SC.
The expanded Academy significantly increases classroom and lab space, adds new equipment models, and redesigns machine layouts to provide true 360-degree visibility—giving technicians clearer insight into individual components and interconnected systems for a stronger hands-on learning experience.
The Academy delivers a blended training model combining e-learning, structured field experience, and in-person classroom and lab instruction using fully functional, live equipment. Technicians receive foundational service training plus specialized courses on sterilizers and washer-disinfectors, ensuring learning is directly aligned with real-world service conditions.
Beyond developing internal technical talent, the facility also supports hospital facilities and biomedical staff seeking deeper technical education, as well as cross-functional internal training. The new Academy reinforces SteelcoBelimed US’s commitment to advancing sterile processing through enhanced safety, innovation, and operational efficiency.
