"...take advantage of the opportunity to see a New Zealand registered and trained chiropractor, with over 25 years experience, without having to leave Rarotonga!"
Kia orana.
I am back on Island and have started to see people already. I am working week days right through to Friday 28th February 2025. I am working out of the same place... Rarotonga Printing, Ara Tapu, Tupapa, next door to Cook Island News. I am looking forward to seeing my fabulous regular clientele again and I appreciate your continued patronage and support. I am also available to see new people that need some help with their health or simply need a "tune-up".
I am pleased to report that the results of recent research out of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic by Dr Heidi Haavic PhD, helps us to further understand the power of a chiropractic adjustment and its benefits to the body, particularly to the nervous system and the brain. See her with Russell Brand explaining her research here...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgwXAzTqJVU
What the research is telling us is that a subluxated spine (a spinal joint that has lost its normal position and coordination with the rest of the spine causing stiffness, tightness, pain and a decline in performance, amongst other things), creates a situation within the body that causes a mal-adaption (weakening or fibrous hypertonicity) of the fine controlling muscles of the spine. These fine controlling muscles are more than mere muscles. They also function as sensory organs that our brain depends upon to get a sense of where our body is in space (proprioception) and how our spine is moving in relation to our external environment (whether you are sitting, walking, running or sleeping). If these muscles are mal-adapted they eventually become weak and are unable to "report" to the brain their vital information. This is where things go terribly wrong. What results is your back starts to feel stiff, tight or achy. You don't feel fully at ease when resting or sleeping. Eventually, this can lead to degenerative changes in the spine, serious dysfunction and pain that may eventually require surgical intervention.
However, a series of chiropractic spinal adjustments will start to correct these subluxations "waking up" these fine motor controlling muscles of the spine and start them working again. They eventually regain their strength and function allowing them to operate in their sensory organ capacity again reporting their vital information to the brain allowing it to do its job more effectively.
Now you can take advantage of the opportunity to see a New Zealand registered and trained chiropractor, with over 25 years’ experience, without having to leave Rarotonga. You will receive the same type of care that is discussed in the research.

IMPORTANT!!!
Being a registered primary health care provider, I am required to keep and maintain accurate health records. If you are new and are about to make your first appointment, you will be asked to enter some details about yourself so your appointment can be locked in. You must use your own personal details, including your email and mobile number (except for minors who can be registered with their parent’s email and mobile), as this information identifies you from others in the database who may have the same name.
Please keep an eye out for your confirmation email. That email contains an active link to an online Health History form that I require you to complete and submit before you arrive for your appointment. Take your time to answer the questions fully and accurately as this will form part of your health record and will allow me to conduct an appropriate consultation and examination based on the information you provide.
My local mobile number will be working once I land in Rarotonga. That number is +68280827.
I look forward to seeing you all.
Meitaki maata,
Dr Chad Esaiah
