Noris Medical is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Yaniv Mayer to our Global Experts Team and Advisory Board.
Dr. Mayer is an esteemed periodontist and serves as the Director of the Periodontology Graduate Program at the Rambam Health Care Campus, where he also spearheads Clinical Research and Innovation within the Department of Periodontology. His previous roles include the presidency of the Israeli Society of Periodontology. Dr. Mayer's academic journey began at The Hebrew University, where he graduated with distinction (cum laude) in dentistry, followed by a specialization in Periodontics at the Rambam School of Graduate Dentistry.
Accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology and holding a diploma from the American National Board, Dr. Mayer is a respected figure in the periodontal field. He is a clinical senior lecturer at the Technion's Faculty of Medicine and an ITI Fellow, in addition to directing the Israeli ITI Study Club. Dr. Mayer is deeply involved in both clinical and basic research, focusing on new technologies, bone augmentations, soft tissue management, and the connections between periodontal and systemic health. His expertise is regularly showcased at national and international conferences.
Recognized by Forbes and Dun & Bradstreet as a leading periodontist in Israel, Dr. Mayer contributes to the dental community as a reviewer for dental journals. He also holds the position of Co-CEO at Periocenter Ltd., a center dedicated to Periodontal Surgery and Implantology, underscoring his dedication to the advancement of periodontal care and education.
