Today featured themes like project design and implementation, Human Resource Management, Financial Management and other operations . This training was so timy for HAACAM , as we are at a stage of restructuring for better implementation and better results.

Our Director, Mme Laison Sylvie, joined other Women Led organizations in the North West Region in a 2 days capacity strengthening workshop by UNFPA Cameroon , that seeks to build the capacities of these organizations in Good Governance, Transparency and Accountability in reporting, Networking and Community Engagement. Today was a success,
as we look forward to day 2 tomorrow.

It’s another time of the year to look back with our heads lifted high to celebrate how far we have come . We celebrate our resilience through it all, physical and hormonal changes in our bodies we cannot understand, no chance to speak because no one cares about our opinions , sexual violence , early marriages, no self worth , little opportunities to prove who we really are and what we can offer and have have you . Another time to celebrate our resilience through all the vices and count our achievements. Girls leading change . See how much we have changed from being the weaker vessels to championing change especially in crisis . We have broken the chains that even as teenage mothers , we are entrepreneurs, even with no opportunity, we dare to create seats for ourselves on the tables of decision making and we thrive . Today we celebrate our resilience, our strength and commitment to a better society. We indeed are the chair leaders of today , champions of tomorrow. Cheers as we celebrate, I want you to remember! Today , HAACAM joins the World to celebrate world Mental Health day , and we are reflecting on the theme , “ Access to services “ . It is very critical for us working in emergencies. On this day we urge our fellow colleagues that in the mist of all the challenges, beginning from ; no structure to govern practice , broken systems of support, conflicts of interests and all, we should remember to optimize the quality of our services to meet the needs of our clients who need our support. We commend the work of all mental health professionals who are putting their best to meet the growing needs of society, especially those working in conflict settings . Your work is valid , and May God bless you . Remember your own mental health matters too . You cannot give what you do not have . Take out time once in a while to work on yourselves too , relax when you need to , and be healthy for the people you serve . Have a great celebration as we take out time to reflect .Kudos our

The Beauty and Spa cooperative, and the Fadhion Cooperative. This is a relatively new concept and we are so keen to the outcomes of these joint venture, where the women get to share expertise for collective gain . After this round of training, and with keen follow up to prospects of the laureate , we launched 2 cooperatives for the graduates. This action is one to help them work in teams, network better , share expertise and experiences.
