Hello again! One of the most common complaints I hear from my patients is that they're feeling stressed and anxious.

And I get it - life can be overwhelming at times. But the good news is that there are natural techniques you can use to help manage your stress and anxiety. So let's dive in!

First up, let's talk about deep breathing. Taking deep, slow breaths can help calm your mind and relax your body. To do this, find a quiet spot to sit or lie down, and take a deep breath in through your nose for 4 seconds. Hold the breath for 7 seconds, then slowly exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds. Repeat this process for a few minutes, and you'll start to feel more relaxed and centered. 🧘‍♀️

Another technique to try is progressive muscle relaxation. This involves tensing and then releasing each muscle group in your body, starting from your toes and working your way up to your head. To do this, tense each muscle group for 5-10 seconds, then release the tension and focus on how the muscles feel when they're relaxed.

This can help you become more aware of the physical sensations in your body and release any tension you may be holding onto. 💆‍♂️

Hey there! 👋 👨‍⚕️, I'm always looking for simple yet effective ways to help my patients improve their health and well-being. And today, I'm excited to share with you the one simple change that can unlock the secret to optimal health: drinking more water! 💦

You might be thinking, "Really? Drinking water can make that big of a difference?" And the answer is yes! Staying hydrated is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Not only does it help you feel more energized, but it can also improve your digestion, support healthy skin, and even help with weight loss. 🏋️‍♀️💆‍♀️🍎

As a matter of fact, I suffer from headaches and mental stress on a regular basis, and this changed drastically when I just changed the amount and quality of water I drink daily !!

So how much water should you be drinking? As a general rule, aim for at least 8 cups of water a day. But if you're active or live in a hot climate, you may need even more. A good way to figure out how much water you need is to divide your body weight in pounds by 2, and drink that many ounces of water each day. 🚰📈

Now, I know that drinking water can sometimes feel like a chore, especially if you're not used to it. But there are a few easy things you can do to make it more enjoyable. For example, try keeping a water bottle with you throughout the day, and set reminders on your phone to drink up. You can also add some flavor to your water by infusing it with fruits or herbs. Skinny teas won’t make you skinny.
You don’t need to go vegan, Keto, Paleo. Feel fre if you want to.
But Eating fat won’t make you fat. You don’t have to eliminate carbs or even sugar.

You don’t even need anything extreme as it has a less chance of being sustainable in the long term.

Eating after 6pm won’t make you fat.
However Eating a surplus of calories is the beast. It will make you fat so stay in a deficit.

Don’t complicate nutrition.

Stay consistent. Brilliant if you lost one pound a week for a year. That would be 2.3 kgs a month.

Detoxification sure be done every three months to prevent the frequent occurrence of diseases and to preserve a youthful appearance.
Body detoxification should be done every 3 to six months because it is the cause of ageing and all the horrible problems we face.
It is important to know that detoxification is an action! Toxins must leave the body in order for a detox to take place. When we consume unnatural foods they leave a sludgy, dense residue in our cells. This residue becomes our excess weight, our body odour, our wrinkles, and our cellulite. This residue in excess is even the culprit behind rapid aging! We awaken these toxins when we rehydrate this sludgy toxic residue in the cells by consuming alkaline substances: fresh vegetable juice, raw vegetables and fruits.

1.When we age, our hormones are not produced as much as they used to be. This ages us and does not allow us to have full body function.
2.Our joints and muscles age, which leads to morning stiffness. But some people get chronic pain, stiff joints and they may need a walker or electric scooter to mobilize.
3.Our gut does not absorb nutrients as well in old age compared to a young person. Although you can take supplements, even these may one day not get absorbed as much as the absorption mechanism of our gut cells is failing us slowly.
4.Our brain has always been active, but in older age it is not as spry as at a younger age. This you could live with. But 30% to 40% of old people develop Alzheimer’s disease. This certainly interferes with immortality.
5.Older people have much slower filtration rates in the kidneys, which translates into less detoxification. The same is true for liver function, which slows down. As both the kidneys and the liver are our major detoxification organs, toxins can accumulate in our aging bodies. This can interfere with cell function. Intravenous chelation therapy with EDTA can detoxify the body of heavy metals like mercury, cadmium, lead etc. But this will not rejuvenate the kidney or liver tissues to do the rest of detoxification.
6.lungs and heart are other major organs that age. When lung tissue does not absorb as much oxygen as in the past, the tissues in the body are getting oxygen deprived. The heart is very sensitive to this, but hardening coronary arteries are also an important cause of heart attacks or heart failure in older people. Without full lung function and heart function the body falls apart fairly rapidly.

How obesity affects your body functions

Obesity affects the body in various ways. It is particularly the apple type obesity that causes inflammatory substances circulating in the blood. A multitude of conditions can develop from this.

The cholesterol shows an increase of the bad LDL cholesterol and a reduction of the good HDL cholesterol.
The blood pressure rises. Without treatment high blood pressure can cause strokes.
Type-2 diabetes often develops because the insulin production cannot keep up with the demand. A second factor is a loss of insulin receptor sensitivity. As a result the insulin receptors of the body cells become resistant to insulin.
The gallbladder often develops stones, which may require gallbladder surgery.
Some cancers are increasing in frequency: endometrial cancer, breast, colon, kidney, gallbladder, and liver cancer.
Anxiety, depression and other mental disorders are more common, in part because of the neuro-inflammatory processes that I mentioned before.
Body pain and problems with physical functioning: obese people have more back pains, hip and knee pains from the extra weight. Slim people are less likely to have these problems. Obese people require more hip and knee replacement surgeries for end-stage arthritis than slim people.
