Yesterday, the LAMP FEST Organizing Team had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to the Regional President of the Cameroon Nurses Association (CNA).
The Cameroon Nurses Association is the professional body that represents and advances the interests, standards, and professional development of nurses across the nation. Their role in shaping healthcare delivery, strengthening professional ethics, and advocating for nurses makes them a cornerstone of the nursing profession in Cameroon.
For a festival like LAMP FEST, which celebrates Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Professionals, the support and involvement of such an esteemed body is not just important — it is foundational. Their participation represents unity, professional pride, and a collective commitment to advancing healthcare in our communities.
We are deeply encouraged by the warm reception and strong endorsement given by the Regional President during our visit. She expressed genuine excitement about the vision of the festival and assured us of the Association’s presence and support throughout the event.
This commitment speaks volumes. It reflects a shared belief in the importance of platforms that celebrate healthcare professionals, inspire leadership, and restore the spirit of service to humanity within the profession.
LAMP FEST is more than an event — it is a movement to recognize, empower, and connect the heroes of our healthcare system. And with institutions like the Cameroon Nurses Association standing with us, the impact will be even greater.
We look forward to welcoming CNA and many other stakeholders as we prepare for an unforgettable celebration of the nursing and healthcare profession.
The future of healthcare is collaborative — and together, we are lighting the path.
