Our group was created by 3 aspiring neurosurgeons in March 2019. With the help of John Bennett, MD and his platform Neurosurgical TV we were able to organize webinars on Zoom and YouTube. Our first lecture series was Neuroanatomy and it featured medical students, general practitioners and residents from all over the continent. With the guidance of Marco Meloni, MD; Victor Hugo Perez Perez, MD; Iype Cherian, MD; Dieu Merci Kabulo, MD and Nourou Bankole, MD we have been able to grow our community and expand our activities. Besides the weekly webinars on Saturday (5 PM GMT), we have monthly Journal Clubs (last Saturday of each month) and ongoing research.

We hope to grow further and so as to reach as many people as possible. Our goal is to improve the management of neurological and neurosurgical diseases on the continent. We welcome initiatives, individuals and groups interested in neurosurgery, neurology, neuroradiology, neuroanesthesia, neuro ICU, neuropathology, neuro nursing and neurosciences.
