The beauty health foundation is a non profit organization founded in 2013, with a mission to promote healthy and beautiful living in the four dimensional aspects of the human life. The establishment of Christian community empowerment and wellness centers (Cities of Refuge) is the strategy of fuction. HELM INITIATIVE
The HELM initiative is our operations module. HELM is the abbreviation for Health, Emotions, Looks, and Mind. Physical wellness depends on quality of healthcare. Emotional wellness depends on the strength of the mind and social support. Looking good relies on self acceptance and self esteem. Mental wellness depends on the strength of the spirit. We intend to provide state of the art facilities and staff for each department within each city of refuge. Health
To improve physical wellness and increase health care within the local community. This department will provide urgent care services, medical screenings, first aid services, alternative medicine physical fitness, weight-loss, intergrative health care, herbal healing etc
2. Emotion
Emotional wellness is almost completely ignored in most african societies. Following our statistics in 2013, we found that 95percent of people within our community have suffered emotionally (this is before the war) In Bamenda, a remote African town in Cameroon, 90 percent of youths in one community have resolved to drug abuse due to rejection, depression and emotional trauma. The restoration of emotional health can no longer be ignored.
3. Looks
Looking good makes you feel better. Feeling better brings a ray of hope. Looks and self esteem are inseparable. Social wellness is a major part of growth. Most people have resolved to isolation because they are socially sick. We will use the Look good, feel better program to restore social wellness.
3. Mind
The mind is the powerhouse of man. God is after the mind and the devil is also after the mind. He who has the mind has the man. Mental wellness is the core of this initiative. We intend to work with the Holy Spirit to restore the original, God designed mental state of each individual who becomes part of our program. The time to play church is over! This is a call for kingdom builders. The time to effect real change in all four dimensional aspects in the lives of God's people. This is the new wave of discipleship. Amen.
