What is this trip?
Laowai Pie's friend Meng is a professional desert guide in Inner Mongolia, who loves foreign culture and he would like to invite all Laowai Pie readers to come on a road trip together.
Meng is showing friends how to drink in Mongolian culture.
Who is Meng?
Meng is the owner of the travel service Sapopo which does trips through the desert in Inner Mongolia. Meng is also a friend of the new member of Laowai Pie, Ting Ting, who is editing this right now.
Why is this happening?
Because Meng would like to offer a series of trips to Laowai Pie's followers to experience the desert. And he would like to find coordinators in the future who can find and lead a team to the desert with him. So if you are interested in traveling or becoming a guide for Sapopo, you should come on the road trip with us.
When can I do it?
1) You can arrange any 3 days from Friday evening to Sunday evening in July.
a) June 30th - July 2nd
b) July 7th - July 9th
c) July 14 - July 16th
d) July 21st - July 23rd
2) Up to 20 people can participate at the same time, which means you can invite your friends to come, the more the merrier.
What is the schedule like?
Route of the Road Trip
Day 1:
Land in Wuhan, be picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel. The hotel which you stay is called Xingchen Hotel, and the price for a standard room is 140RMB per night. However, as a promotional offer for the first trip, this will be FREE. We will have a welcome party for you folks in Sapopo Club.
(NOTE:You can choose to land the next morning for personal convenience, but we recommend coming on Friday night so you will have a good rest and be prepared for the trip.)

Day 2:
11:30am : You will be picked up from the hotel, go to Sapopo Club to meet the team and have lunch there.
3:00pm: You will split into teams and set out for adventure.
6:00pm: Arrive at the camping site in the desert.
We will camp and prepare food for dinner. Team members will have social activities like desert training, sand surfing, boxing, fireworks. Dinner includes lamb, Chinese cold dishes, fresh fruit, ice cold beer. Finally, we will end with a bonfire party, and everybody will have their fun in the beautiful desert and have a good rest in the tents. (Tents, sleeping bags, and all other equipment are all provided)
Day 3:
Go see the sunrise in the morning and have breakfast.
After that, pack up, head to the oasis and have lunch there. Sunbathe in the afternoon, go home when the dawn falls, which marks the end of the trip. (We can send you to the airport if your flight is this day). It will be around 3pm when we get to the city.
How much will it cost?
The original price is 1980RMB for all the other tour compaines which cooperate with Sapopo, but Laowai Pie has a special offer from Meng, so the price it will be 1280 RMB.
What do I get for 1280RMB?
(1) Professional T3 driver leading the team, as well as a doctor and chef attending.
(2) Toyota Jeep (above 4000 CC)
(3) Camping equipment.
(4) Food & Drinks: Local Lamb, organic vegetables, cold dishes, fruits, cold bottled water and drinks, beer, BBQ in desert.
(5) Activities:Drive though the desert, dinner, sand surfing, water park, desert training, bonfire party, desert BBQ, fireworks.
(6) If you book the first trip (June 30th -July 2nd), the hotel will be paid for by Meng as a promotional offer.
How do I get to Wuhai from Beijing?
The Best way to do it is to get a flight : it takes 1h50m, and about 1000RMB return.
