Hi everyone, my name is Hathaway from BST. We will share content about photography and optics with everyone. I hope to communicate with people who are interested in photography, sunglasses, and optical products here.

Bright Shadow Technology Ltd., referred to as BST, is an optical product R&D and manufacturing factory located in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, China. Since more than 15 years, our team has been rooted in the production and development of camera filters and we are one of the earliest factories in China to join this industry. Relying on our rich experience and independent research and development strength, we have obtained many opportunities to cooperate with world-renowned brands. Provide OEM and ODM services for 80% of the known brands on the market. BST is committed to devoting its energy to research and development, striving to be the industry leader. Colorful streak filter
With the increase of video shooting, traditional UV filters, ND filters, CPL filters and other products have been unable to meet the needs of users. More effect filters appeared. This issue will introduce you to the streak filter products that are popular in the current market.
When shooting with an ultra-wide format anamorphic lens, there will be a horizontal brushed glare effect under the point light source, which can make the movie picture more unique and mysterious. Compared with the expensive anamorphic wide-screen lens, many video producers will also add a black border mask in the later stage to simulate a wide-screen effect similar to 2.39:1. The streak filter can simulate the effect of anamorphic widescreen to a large extent, so that the ordinary lens in hand can easily shoot the brushed glare effect, combined with post-production masking to achieve the effect of a movie picture.

The streak filter developed by BST has a variety of colors, such as blue, gold, green, yellow, rainbow colors, etc. Colors can also be customized according to customer requirements. Colorful streak filters make your video more distinctive.

1. What are the main filters for landscape photography?
Any professional landscape photographer cannot do without camera filters. So what are the most commonly used filters?
1.1 CPL
The polarizer looks like a gray filter, which consists of two filters and a rotatable frame. Adjust the angle of use by rotating the two lenses to achieve the best effect.

Polarizers can be used to filter polarized light, which can make the sky bluer, the water clearer, and the overall picture more transparent.

In addition, one of the most important functions of polarizers is to eliminate reflected light. Filters out the reflected light that affects the picture.

1.2 ND
The ND filter is a piece of black-gray glass that works just like the sunglasses we use every day. The entry of light can be reduced.

Since the shutter speed of the camera will have a great impact on the effect of the picture, in many cases, when we cannot use the conventional means of aperture and ISO to achieve the shutter speed we need, we need to use a light filter. Different intensities of ND filters can produce different effects.

If we want to better express the movement of the waves, and when the light is strong, it is difficult for us to only adjust the shutter ISO to achieve a very slow shutter speed and accurate exposure, so this time I use Stop 6 (ND64) light reduction mirror to shoot.
Under the action of the dimming filter, the shutter speed of the camera is reduced, and the waves captured are silky smooth, so the whole picture is obviously more fluid and visually striking than when it is not used.
