Tonight’s Online Academic Conference

Tonight I am very honored to be invited by Prof. Xiaopeng Zhang of Hebei Provincial People's Hospital to share my work online. The title of my speech is: Experience in Chest Wall Shaping and Reconstructive Surgery. My philosophy and techniques are completely different from those of thoracic surgeons. My work is chest wall surgery, which is a brand-new work and a brand-new clinical specialty. This should be the fundamental reason that attracts thousands of experts to participate this conference online tonight.

Today I was invited to complete a pectus excavatum surgery in Shantou. Although pectus excavatum is very common, there are not many doctors who are truly skilled in performing this surgery. I have been to many hospitals over the years, and my mission is to help more doctors master the skills of pectus excavatum surgery and enable them to complete this surgery.

We Make History Again Today

Every member of my team knows that today we once again broke our own record and made history again. We completed our sixth chest wall reconstruction surgery for straight back syndrome. All 6 surgeries were performed by ourselves, and no other doctor in the world has performed such surgeries. My method is the only option for treating patients with straight back syndrome and severe airway constriction.

Reoperation after failed Nuss procedure(42)

Many patients with pectus excavatum have undergone Nuss procedure, but unfortunately, their surgery was not successful. They came from all over the world and experienced failed Nuss procedure in different hospitals. Some of these hospitals are even very famous hospitals, and the surgeons are also very famous doctors. These unfortunate patients eventually came to my center for re-operation. I used my own designed Wang procedure, Wung procedure, willine procedure and Wenlin procedure to correct them, and finally achieved good results. This patient is one of many such unfortunate patients.
