A female patient presented with the inability to make a tight fist with the middle and ring fingers of her right hand.
Professor Ying Wang palpated along her upper limb and found a cord-like nodule. He then applied a heat-producing needling technique to the nodule, eliciting a warm sensation that radiated to the fingers.

Motion Acupuncture for Trigeminal Neuralgia
The patient had suffered from recurrent trigeminal neuralgia for a year and a half.
By the time of her visit, the pain was so severe that it brought tears to her eyes and made normal conversation difficult. Prior to treatment, she experienced over ten episodes of pain daily.
Remarkably, after just one session of Motion Acupuncture, the daily episodes were reduced to merely one or two. 👍👏

Zha Tiao (Muscle-Twisting Needling Technique) at deltoid.
Zha Tiao refers to a needling technique that induces muscle contractions or twitching upon needle insertion. During the procedure, visible muscle fiber contractions or pulsations may be observed externally, or the practitioner may sense the muscular movement. This phenomenon is considered an objective manifestation of “de qi” (obtaining qi) and represents the most standardized, reproducible, and clinically verifiable form of “de qi”.

With Modern Abdominal Diagnosis and Acupuncture techniques, this is the first time I've been able to objectively visualize meridian pathways directly on a patient. 🥰🥰
When we did the treatment, the patient said they could feel Qi moving through their body, and even described how the Qi around the acupuncture points was flowing along classical meridian pathways.

✍Reported by Theresa Yau, the student of Professor Ying Wang.

“邪气来也紧而疾”"The arrival of pathogenic qi manifests as tight and rapid." ✍

A needle was inserted at LI4 (Hegu) for a patient with abdominal pain.
Two minutes later, involuntary continuous twitching of the index finger was observed, persisting for over ten seconds before temporarily ceasing.
After several minutes, the twitching resumed.
Subsequently, the abdominal pain resolved completely.

This acupuncture technique calls Zha Tiao (Muscle-Twitch Needling), an objective manifestation of “de qi” (obtaining qi) . If you want to master this technique, you can learn from Professor Lu.
