Case of Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique (Muscle-Twitch Needling) for shoulder joint pain.
An elderly male patient presented with shoulder joint pain for over three months, characterized by limited range of motion during elevation, accompanied by joint pain, with notably exacerbated nocturnal symptoms.
Acupuncture was administered at Jianjing (GB21), paired with a trigger point in the deltoid muscle, and at Tianzong (SI11), paired with another trigger point in the deltoid muscle, using the Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique and electrical stimulation.
💐Post-treatment outcomes:
The patient exhibited a significant improvement in shoulder elevation range and complete resolution of nocturnal pain. The patient reported marked emotional relief and returned for follow-up with a cheerful demeanor, reflecting satisfactory therapeutic efficacy.

Case of Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique (Muscle-Twitch Needling) for acute trauma.
The patient suffered from a fall while riding on a bicycle, resulting in redness, swelling, and pain in the left knee, accompanied by difficulty in knee flexion and walking.
Acupuncture was administered at Zusanli (ST36) and Liangqiu (ST34) with Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique and electrical stimulation for 1 hour. During follow-up, the patient walked normally, and the redness and swelling in the knee had reduced markedly. 🥳🥳

Acupuncture for Orbital Myokymia
Chief Complaint:
* Involuntary twitching of right periorbital muscles
* Accompanied by: right eyelid edema, persistent lacrimation, ocular redness with discomfort
* Systemic manifestations: generalized fatigue and mental tension
Acupuncture Protocol:
1. Local Intervention:
* ST8 (Touwei) & GB21 (Jianjing) on affected side

2. Distal Point:

3. Auricular Therapy:

Outcome:

Case of Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique (Muscle-Twitch Needling) for Achilles Tendon Tear �
The patient, a 21-year-old woman, fell accidentally, injuring the right ankle and Achilles tendon, resulting in immediate localized swelling, pain, and restricted mobility, requiring crutch-assisted walking. She had received acupuncture combined with herbal therapy at another hospital, but symptoms persisted, prompting her to seek further treatment.
💖Acupoints selected: Right GB 41 (Zulinqi) and BL 58 (Feiyang) with Zha Tiao Acupuncture Technique and electrical stimulation.
After one treatment, the redness, swelling, heat, and pain around the right ankle and heel area had been significantly reduced. Ecchymosis (bruising) completely resolved, and she regained normal mobility, walking freely without crutches. 👏👏

Modern Abdominal Diagnosis and Acupuncture with the Eight Extraordinary Meridians.
Diagnosis: Disorders of the Yin Linking Vessel (Yin Wei Mai) and Yin Heel Vessel (Yin Qiao Mai)
✍Treatment:
1. Right Zhubin (KI9) and Jiaoxin (KI8): The entire abdomen softened, and lower back pain resolved. Tenderness at the right Yuiji (LU10) acupoint disappeared.
2. Heat application at Guanyuan (CV4): Warmth initially ascended to the chest, then propagated to the lower back. The patient reported whole-body comfort.
Needles were retained for 30 minutes. After the treatment, the patient happily scheduled his next session and departed. 👍🥰
