A surfboard's tail fin is a critical part of your surfboard setup, affecting its stability, responsiveness, ability to change direction, and more.
The performance of the tail fin is mainly divided into speed, stability and flexibility.
The stability is reflected in the magnitude of the interaction force between the tail fin and the seawater, that is, the support force or the resistance to change direction (force feedback);
Flexibility is to reduce the interaction force between the caudal fin and the seawater or to increase the speed of water flow through hydrodynamic effects to reduce its resistance to changing direction.
