How to open a bank account

STEP 1Choose a period on a work day, and bring the aforesaid materials to a bank location for manual processing. Get a number from the ticketing machine near a bank's entrance, and wait for your number to be called.
STEP 2Show the tellers the phrase "我想开一个银行账户" for translation. Then, you may submit your prepared documents for the tellers to process. Follow the teller's instruction and fill out forms with authentic, accurate and complete information.
Note:Most forms are only available in Chinese language. Thus, it would be well-advised to bring along a Chinese friend
STEP 3You might need to pay the card fee or make minimum deposit and configure your six-digit password, and your account should be ready.
