We are excited to see the official release of the movie Valhalla, Cielo de Roca with on these holidays. An amazing feat in Getu, China, by Edu Marin and family that we were so honored to support. Being the longest and hardest rooftop climb in the world, the movie portraits only a small part of the struggle and hard work put into it, the countless hours, days and months living in rural China learning, unlearning and creating a cultural bridge while inspiring and leaving a legacy behind. first visit to the clinic was 7 years ago, when she was an aspiring world champion and knew she had to work hard and grow among all the amazing climbers out there. Her determination, discipline and hard work has made Janja become not just a once in a lifetime athlete but a great human being that is committed to share the love and passion for the sport and its ups and downs to inspire our communities to understand the value of falling in love with the process. We had the the honor to have Janja and to deliver a series of workshops that left our community inspired, hunger and most importantly, humbled.

The Year of the Tiger…

These are difficult times for our community in Shanghai. The uncertainty, the fear of the unknown, the what if questions and all the fear, frustration and hatred it has created…

But we are not alone, we were never alone. Look around you, we are all interconnected or can be if we choose to. Let’s choose to give a helping hand to those you can reach out, choose to be the light to those who can’t see it coming at the end of the tunnel, to those who don’t have a strong voice nor a strong arm to reach for help.

Stay strong China. This will be a difficult year for everyone, specially for those living here. As the year of the rat comes in, a time of reflection, information is needed more than ever.

We wish and pray for everyone in the world to stay safe, healthy, but more importantly, educated and informed. Happy Year of the Rat everyone and thanks again to you, patients, athletes, students and partners who have made possible for the clinic to become the premier medical, wellness and performance center in Shanghai.

Our team will be back to the frontlines on February 13th to help you get back to do the things you love the most.
