With its non-invasive, real-time, and repeatable characteristics, it is widely used in animal abdominal examinations, especially suitable for common domestic and economic animals like dogs, cats, cattle, and horses. It can accurately assess structural and functional abnormalities of abdominal organs, providing key basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The digestive system is the most commonly examined area in animal abdominal ultrasound, and it is particularly crucial for identifying the causes of symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and abdominal distension and pain. It can evaluate hepatic parenchymal echo, intrahepatic bile duct dilatation, and portal vein blood flow; detect gallbladder size, gallbladder wall thickness, and stones or parasites in bile ducts; identify splenomegaly, splenic rupture, and splenic nodules; and determine gastric foreign bodies, intestinal wall thickening, intestinal dilatation, etc.

In the diagnosis of kidney diseases, it can observe the size, shape, and internal structure of the kidneys, and has clear diagnostic significance for conditions such as kidney stones, renal cysts, and renal tumors. For example, kidney stones typically appear as hyperechoic areas with acoustic shadows on ultrasound images, while renal cysts are characterized by clear boundaries and anechoic interiors. With the high-resolution images provided by the ultrasound device, veterinarians can accurately identify these lesions. Additionally, the device can observe the renal blood supply using color Doppler ultrasound technology, assisting in the diagnosis of diseases like renal artery stenosis. When renal artery stenosis occurs, color Doppler ultrasound can detect a decrease in renal artery blood flow velocity.

In the diagnosis of bladder diseases, it can clearly display the size, shape, and position of the bladder, and assess changes in the thickness of the bladder wall.
