Parkinson's disease is a common neurodegenerative disorder among the elderly. Currently, there are about 10 million people worldwide suffering from Parkinson's disease.
However, it is difficult for us to notice the presence of Parkinson's patients in our daily lives. The uncontrollable symptoms cause them significant physical discomfort and psychological burden.
GYENNO SCIENCE has planned and filmed a series of public welfare documentaries titled "Recreated Dopamine" hoping to raise public awareness, understanding, and support for this group.
This is the first installment of the series, "Belief in Tomorrow" which tells the story of a young patient diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 19, depicting nearly 20 years of his life and inner journey. Yet, after 20 years, he has gradually gained the courage to face everything with equanimity.
