Parkinson's disease is a common neurodegenerative disorder among the elderly. Currently, there are about 10 million people worldwide suffering from Parkinson's disease.
However, it is difficult for us to notice the presence of Parkinson's patients in our daily lives. The uncontrollable symptoms cause them significant physical discomfort and psychological burden.
GYENNO SCIENCE has planned and filmed a series of public welfare documentaries titled "Recreated Dopamine" hoping to raise public awareness, understanding, and support for this group.
This is the first installment of the series, "Belief in Tomorrow" which tells the story of a young patient diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 19, depicting nearly 20 years of his life and inner journey. The incessant tremors and involuntary movements have been like a heavy shackle that has confined his heart for years, intensifying the young man's sense of shame about his illness.
Yet, after 20 years, he has gradually gained the courage to face everything with equanimity.

Innovative therapies continue to emerge, which is exciting. But Parkinson's disease is still subject to under-diagnosis and misdiagnosis in many countries. That's what we're doing, and GYENNO is developing a range of innovative technologies to enable intelligent quantitative assessment of Parkinson's disease. This enables a complete pathway from assessment to diagnosis to treatment.😃

A novel therapy designed to clear toxic clumps of a protein thought to be responsible for Parkinson's disease has shown promise in early clinical trials.
