Recently, a joint research effort involving Professor Leibo's team from the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, Digifluidic, and collaborative partners
from Jinan University and Hong Kong Baptist University has resulted in the development of a visual detection platform based on Digital Microfluidics (DMF) technology and Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) colorimetric reaction. 🔬 Exciting News! We are thrilled to announce that the research findings of DigiBio have been published in the prestigious international food science journal, Food Control (Q1, IF: 6.65). The groundbreaking study, titled "Multiplex detection of foodborne pathogens by real-time loop-mediated isothermal amplification on a digital microfluidic chip," demonstrates the immense potential of combining digital microfluidics with loop-mediated isothermal amplification for the detection of multiple foodborne pathogens.

Dr. Yubin Liang , leading a project team at Digifluidic Bio-tech Co., Ltd., is dedicated to establishing a multi-marker combined detection method. This method is based on two target genes, PCA3 and TMPRSS2-ERG, as well as an internal reference gene, PSA. Primers and probes were designed, and artificial synthesized pseudo-viruses and RNA from pathological white slides were used as templates for screening and optimizing the primers and probes. The Digifluidic Biotech team is committed to promoting high-quality health for all humankind. With the completion of this project, they hope to bring good news to the general public.

This innovative molecular diagnostic method will provide a new option for the screening and diagnosis of early-stage prostate cancer, offering patients a more convenient and non-invasive diagnostic approach. EHP (Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei), an intracellular parasite that infects eukaryotes, can cause growth retardation and even death in shrimp if infected.
