Grand opening of “15th ACPT Congress and the 20th-anniversary academic conference of the MPTA”.

As a member organization of ACPT since 2013, we are honored to host the ACPT Congress for the first time here in Macau.

Our Congress theme - “Building Healthier and Stronger Communities” reflects the crucial role physiotherapists play in promoting health and helping people return to their optimal level of function. With the participation of physiotherapists from all over Asia, we hope to explore ideas to promote the involvement of physiotherapists in community health with the goal of strengthening our ties and advancing the profession to a higher level.

World PT Day takes place every year on 8th September. The theme for this year is the role of physiotherapists in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been ravaging the world in year 2020. Many people are turning to online activities rather than going out to reduce the risk of infection. Therefore, the Macau Physical Therapists Association (MPTA) has produced a short exercise promotional video to help people affected by the pandemic to reduce the risk of infection by exercising at home to boost their physical and mental health.
Please share this video to promote the importance of exercising at home, and invite people around the world to enjoy picturesque sceneries in the multicultural city of Macau.
