COMPLETE STORY:

- Debris discovered about 1,600 feet from the Titanic.
- Consistent with catastrophic implosion.
- All five crew members confirmed dead.
- Uncertain whether bodies will be recovered.
- 'Banging sounds' were not from the sub.
- Implosion occurred early, exact time unknown.
- Accident cause being investigated.
