Mission accomplished, the first Skin Ultrasound Symposium ended yesterday with great success within the framework of the national radiology congress. I mainly thank, as always, the world leader in this specialty, Dr. Jimena Wortsman, for having accompanied us and, as always, for sharing so generously. all his knowledge. Dermatological ultrasound is now a formal subspecialty, not, as some still think, a novelty and this is thanks to the strict scientific regulation that has been carried out in the construction of this subspecialty by Dr. Ximena and some other prominent colleagues. Worldwide . It is very satisfying to see how on this occasion the Colombian Society of Radiology assigned the largest room for the event and this room was full the entire time, even with many spectators standing. I also thank Dr. Carlos Riquelme, president of the Chilean Society of Radiology, for his outstanding participation in our symposium. To my students throughout Colombia, who make this beautiful subspecialty grow, you know that you are in my heart and we hope together to continue advancing on this path, thank you very much
