The pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block has emerged as a promising technique for pain management in adult patients with hip fractures
and other analgesic indications. However, its use in pediatric patients with oncologic hip pain has been scarcely explored. This case involves
an adolescent girl with high‑risk synovial sarcoma who experienced severe pain despite multimodal analgesic management. Following PENG
chemical neurolysis, the patient showed a significant reduction in pain, improved functionality and quality of life, and a decrease in opioid
consumption. This case underscores the efficacy and safety of PENG chemical neurolysis in pediatric patients with oncologic hip disease,
offering a valuable alternative for pain management. Functional preservation and enhanced quality of life are key outcomes of this intervention,
emphasizing its importance in the comprehensive approach to pain in pediatric cancer patient💫💫
