Holidays are supposed to be enjoyed with a lot of food, drinks (including alcohol if you enjoy it) desserts and flexibility away from normal daily routines…BUT that does not mean you should use it as an excuse to turn into a gluttonous sloth 🦥
Holidays are actually the best way to learn flexibility with eating, balance with food, exercise, new experiences while navigating new surroundings and barriers. If you can find a healthy balance on holiday you can do it for life.
People will say things like “why don’t you just live a little” or “who cares you’re on holiday” and to that I say. Feeling my happiest and healthiest while still enjoying every food and drink I desire within reason allows me to “live my healthiest, strongest, happiest and best life and enjoy a holiday to the fullest.”
If a holiday to you means being hungover most days, getting unhealthily overweight and feeling like 💩 the whole time then you’re actually missing out on experiencing life to the fullest.
Anyway, here’s picture proof of all the above points made. You can enjoy all the foods you want, unwind and relax and still maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Which also allows still feeling your absolute best everyday which is the goal whether on holidays or not.
