There’s something about standing in a circle, holding hands, and feeling everyone’s presence.

We all come here as individuals. Different countries. Different stories. Different wounds. Different strengths.

And yet… in moments like this, something softens.

You remember that yoga is not something you perform. It’s something you share. It’s the space between us. The support when someone feels unsure. The laughter when things feel intense. The quiet understanding that we’re all learning.

These days were not perfect. They were real. And that’s what made them beautiful.

Some lessons don’t happen in a classroom.
They unfold in the way we live together, in the way we prepare, in the moments we’re asked to step forward before we feel fully ready.

Over these days, this group moved from observing to holding space, slowly, honestly, with care. Not because everything felt perfect, but because they showed up for the process and for each other.

Along the way there was study, practice, shared meals, silence, and ancestral ritual. Spaces to listen, to soften, and to remember that teaching begins with presence and responsibility.

So proud to witness them finding their voice and stepping into this path, while staying students at heart.

The training has a structure.
But the real practice continues in the way we live after.

Life doesn’t shift as much as we think.
People will like you, misunderstand you, support you, judge you. Some days you’ll feel seen, other days invisible. The outside keeps moving.

What really changes is the way you stand inside it.

When your worth is no longer negotiated by opinions, the same situations start to feel different. Not because the world suddenly becomes kinder, but because your center becomes steadier. Perspective is not denial. It’s maturity. It’s learning where to place your energy and where not to.

The moment you stop trying to control how you’re perceived, you begin to experience life more honestly. And strangely, that’s when things start to feel lighter.

Nothing outside needed to change.
You did.
Save this for the days when the world feels heavy and you forget where you stand 🤎

Happy Love Day 🤎

Today we celebrate love, and at Ancestral we want to remind you of something simple: the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. You can’t outrun it. You can’t hide from it. You live inside it every single day.

So let today be a gentle reminder to come back to yourself.
To love yourself a little more honestly.
To feel proud of how far you’ve come.
To celebrate the person you are becoming.

And from that place, share it outward. Let the love you hold within you reach the people you care about. A message, a call, a simple “I love you” can change someone’s whole day.

Happy Love Day. Celebrate yourself, and let your love move through the world 🌍🤎

Asteya isn’t only “don’t steal.”
That’s the easy part.

The real practice is the subtle taking we’re often not aware of:
time, attention, credit, energy, nature’s resources, emotional space.

Asteya is integrity in everyday moments, expressed through conscious action.
It’s learning to receive with gratitude.
It’s balancing giving and receiving.

Comparison and competition, for example, can be forms of stealing.

We’re practicing all day.
Not perfectly. Just sincerely.

In the way we walk.
In the way we meet each other.
In the way we slow down enough to notice.

And somehow, the ordinary starts to feel sacred again.

You don’t have to know the whole way.

Some beginnings don’t come with clarity. They come with a quiet pull, a change in pace, a different quality of attention. And at first, it can feel unfamiliar.

These days have been simple in the best sense: ceremony, practice, silence by the lake, shared meals, unexpected laughter, and the kind of togetherness that doesn’t need to be explained.

If you’re standing at the edge of something new too, let it be unknown for now.
We’ll learn by walking.

Each training leaves its imprint.

This is a memory from our most recent Yoga Teacher Training. A group that arrived from different places, with different ages, backgrounds, and life stories, and graduated together in December.

What we continue to witness, again and again, is this: when people commit to practice, inquiry, and shared presence, the usual markers begin to soften. Nationality, age, gender, labels. They stop being central.

What matters is how we listen. How we show up. How we learn to be in community.

We honour every group that has walked this path with us. Each one shapes what this space is and reminds us that real belonging begins beyond identity.

Thank you for being part of this chapter.

No one heals alone. These smiles speak of trust, safety, and shared presence. They are born when we are held by community, grounded by the Earth, and allowed to be exactly as we are. Mother Ayahuasca may help us remember, but the medicine has always lived within us. When we are connected to nature, supported by others, and held in a space that feels free and safe, we can return to that inner medicine. Not through force, but through presence. Through laughter, softness, and the simple truth of being human together.

When everything feels like too much, the instinct is to escape.
To change the place, the rhythm, the story.

But healing doesn’t happen by running away.
It happens when you slow down enough
to come back to yourself.

To your body.
To your breath.
To what is actually asking to be felt.

And instead of leaving, you stay.
