Ayahuasca, a word of Quechua origin meaning "vine that connects the world of the living and the spirits," is a climbing plant that grows in the rainforests of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It is primarily used by indigenous and Amazonian communities as a medicinal plant.
Also known as Yagé, this plant is a large climbing shrub that produces woody stems, which can grow up to 30 meters long. It requires direct sunlight and is ideal for planting in fertile soil, preferably next to a tree trunk, allowing it to climb naturally.
It’s important to note that the cutting is not rooted; we send you a small "starter piece" of the plant. However, the complete plant is delivered rooted and with leaves, just as shown in the picture.
