O projeto de viabilização do soro antiapílico - medicamento contra acidentes envolvendo múltiplas picadas de abelhas, receberá um aporte de R$ 20 milhões. A conquista do recurso contou com participação direta do deputado federal João Cury (MDB).

O investimento potencializa que o medicamento, idealizado pelo Cevap UNESP de Botucatu em parceria com o Instituto Butantan e o Instituto Vital Brazil, avance à fase final dos te**es clínicos, seja registrado pela Anvisa e comece efetivamente a ser produzido.

Orgulho de ver nossa Botucatu em destaque nacional e na vanguarda da ciência, inovação e tecnologia. Bem como contar com a expertise e parceria do nosso diretor científico, Prof. Dr Rui Seabra, timoneiro deste grande projeto que em um futuro breve estará salvando vidas.

Nuevo curso virtual de OPS-PANAFTOSA buscar fortalecer la respuesta sanitaria ante accidentes por animales venenosos en América Latina y el Caribe.

El curso está diseñado para brindar a los profesionales de salud herramientas basadas en evidencia científica para la prevención, vigilancia, atención clínica y tratamiento de los accidentes por animales venenosos.

El curso está dirigido a profesionales, técnicos y auxiliares del área de la salud (medicina, enfermería, biología, bioquímica, microbiología, farmacia, entre otros), así como a estudiantes avanzados y personal vinculado a servicios de salud pública y vigilancia epidemiológica.

Acknowledging the complexities arising from a divided global environment & underscoring the critical role of the Pandemic Agreement in overcoming obstacles, leveraging collective strengths, and achieving an indispensable objective of mutual benefit to the international community – Health for All!
High-level Member States representatives and Civil Society organizations will take stock of the progress made so far, highlight how the Pandemic Agreement is a foundation for growth, provide key recommendations intended to facilitate progress and answer questions and concerns raised by Member States.

The event aims to encourage Member States to reaffirm their commitment to global health, multilateralism and prevention of disease outbreaks at source via One Health by working swiftly towards a successful negotiation of the Pandemic Agreement until April 11th so that the final agreement can be tabled at the World Health Assembly.

The Pandemic Agreement represents a historic international and legally binding commitment to pandemic prevention, preparedness and response via One Health and will serve as a solid foundation to further strengthen pandemic prevention measures.
