The great times, the hard times, everything in between, and all the emotions that accompany them. September is both and . These acknowledge some of the hard seasons we can experience. The Recovery Management Center wants to remind us that even the darkest of times is a season, and it will change to a brighter time, even when it doesn't seem like it. The school year can feel like a whirlwind, but small habits can make a big difference for everyone’s mental health. Sharing daily highs and lows is a great way for kids to open up, and it reminds you as a parent to pause and reflect, too. A family calendar keeps everyone organized, but it also takes the mental load off your plate. And asking for help, whether it is from friends, family, or a professional, matters just as much for you as it does for your kids. When you care for your own well-being, you are better able to support theirs.
