So proud of Juana and the resilient communities we work with every day. 💙

As a refugee living in Costa Rica, Juana’s dog bite wound went untreated because she didn’t know where to access medical care. Then she found FIMRC’s Project Alajuelita clinic. From that point on, this widow, single mom, and all-around resilient soul began a new journey of healing.

Together with Cenderos, we were able to provide care in Upala last week; a community bordering Nicaragua with refugees lacking health insurance. In 3 days we saw 109 patients! Grateful to serve such deserving families alongside great people.

Gundersen Global Partners helped us provide care to 150 patients at our clinic, plus 200 kids in the school of San Felipe and 70 patients in El Jazmin community on a mobile clinic!
