Tierramor is a living research center and community in Nosara, Costa Rica. Our pillars are built upon:

Our team is growing! Join us at Tierramor as the Juice Bar & Post-Harvest Operator! This role blends customer service, hands-on preparation of juice-bar menu items, and experimentation and creation of handcrafted good made from the food systems at Tierramor. 🌿🌞

You’ll be the bridge between our farm and our guests, sharing the story of where our philosophy and food comes from - while delivering quality and care with every interaction, product created, and menu item served!

This is for you if:�– You have experience in customer service, barista work, food preparation, and/or product development �– You’re comfortable with POS systems and cash handling�– You have a strong interest in fermentation, nutrition, and regenerative practices
– You’re a people person! You love to connect with guests from all over the world ( Intermediate to Advanced English is required)
- You work well independently and thrive in evolving environments

Join us at Tierramor for a morning of planting trees! 🌳🌞 (ESPAÑOL ABAJO) We’ll be planting mature native trees along a creek to enrich the soil, regenerate an area currently covered only in grass, and help the creek infiltrate more water 🌿 Thursday July 24th. Get to know the land, our people and our practice. After planting, we’ll share a nourishing lunch.

Únete a nosotros para un intensivo de tres días sobre agroforestería sintrópica con el increíble Jorge Espinosa de Agro Sintropica y los facilitadores de Tierramor, Javi Abdelnour y Tomás Guzmán! 🌳🌿🌞

Durante este curso práctico, los participantes:

🌿Comprenderán los fundamentos de la agroforestería sintrópica, incluyendo sus principios, historia y aplicación en ecosistemas tropicales secos.
🌿Aprenderán a diseñar e implementar sistemas agroforestales productivos en tierras degradadas, creando sistemas de producción de alimentos resilientes y abundantes.
🌿Descubrirán cómo imitar la dinámica natural de los ecosistemas para restaurar la salud del suelo, aumentar la biodiversidad y mejorar la sostenibilidad a largo plazo.
🌿Desarrollarán habilidades de análisis de sitios y planificación de proyectos, aprendiendo a evaluar las características del terreno, las condiciones del suelo y los factores climáticos para diseñar sistemas agroforestales efectivos.
🌿Obtendrán experiencia práctica en la preparación del suelo y técnicas de siembra, implementando estrategias de sucesión en múltiples estratos para maximizar la productividad.
🌿Explorarán las técnicas de manejo y mantenimiento inicial de sistemas sintrópicos, incluyendo poda, acolchado y selección de plantas para garantizar su salud y productividad a largo pl
🌿Visitarán y estudiarán los sistemas agroforestales establecidos en Tierramor, diseñados específicamente para el bosque tropical húmedo de Guanacaste, y comprenderán cómo han evolucionado durante los últimos 2-3 años.

Esta experiencia inmersiva brindará habilidades prácticas y conocimientos ecológicos, empoderando a los participantes para regenerar paisajes y cultivar abundancia utilizando principios sintrópicos.
