Gratitude is contagious

in the wind
as it touches the tree tops

In the waves
as it comes rushing ashore

In the flutters
of birds' and butterflies' wings

In the silence
of the stars shining brightly above

In your fingertips
as you touch life's splendor

In your breath
as you inhale light and love

In your smile
as you brighten the sky

Gratitude Every breath, new life

“I woke up this morning
with a smile of gratitude
upon my face
I wiggled and stretched
with contentment
in want’s place

I thought of all my blessings
from health to heart to home
I smiled at this moment
and felt the sun as it began to show

When in this moment of gratitude
this is where love truly lives
this is where you know
the true beauty you possess

You will feel God’s presence
everywhere
from deep within your heart it forms
it radiates to your crown
and even wiggles between your toes

Let your love seep out today
as you walk upon this earth
let your love radiate
and give life new birth

Smiles of Gratitude to all the yogis that attend my yoga classes🫶💜🌈

For me, this is what it is all about💜. Being part of a group of like-minded individuals for an important cause, and as a result, helping to make the world a better place for all inhabitants🌈. On Saturday, I volunteered at a PERRA VIDA spay/neuter clinic in the fincas of Palmar Sur. With my yoga proceeds (thank you so much yogis!), I was able to fully sponsor 10 animals. With the help of a fabulous mobile vet and his team, many awesome volunteers, and donors, fixed over 100 animals at the clinic (many surgeries were completely sponsored while others were partially sponsored).

Just one of these vital surgeries can prevent unwanted animals from being born, help decrease the overpopulation of cats and dogs, prevent unwanted diseases, prevent abandonment, and neglect. And the effects on the community are huge!

But, the biggest benefit to me is meeting every one of these amazing souls🐾🐾. Animals are truly a gift and can be an inspiration to us all.

“Your Voice is Your Song🕊

I went outside last night to let out the dogs
and I entered into a symphony of song🎶

A bird I had never heard before was in the trees close by
I couldn’t see him, but I could hear his mighty voice
of harmony and song

It had a tune full of light and laughter and sunshine
It made my heart sing too and join in with the melody

I thanked the heavens at that very moment for creating this song
for creating the bird with the beautiful voice of light and laughter too

We all have a voice, a song
and when we use our voice with words of joy, love, hate, or despair
we fill other’s hearts with the very same song

Our song reflects out into the universe, the earth, the air, the ground
it is so strong and so profound

So take care with your own unique voice
make sure to sing with love, laughter, and sunshine
because each song fills the hearts of another
and helps create their own unique song

I was blessed with the symphony of a beautiful bird’s song last night
and I thank the universe for filling my voice
with a song of laughter, sunshine, and light
