Two recent events marked another step forward in expanding breast tissue preservation surgery across the Ibero-Latin American region.
🇵🇦 FILACP Congress Panama 2026
At this major meeting, a keynote lecture was delivered on Breast Tissue Preservation and minimal incision surgery, presenting the anatomical, conceptual, and technological foundations that are redefining breast surgery.
🌎 Live surgery broadcast from the Sulayom Innovation Center
In a second event, Dr. Giovanni Herrera performed two live surgeries, broadcast to an audience of more than 400 surgeons across Latin America and Ibero-America.
Participants were able to see and understand how a procedure that appears simple is supported by deep scientific, anatomical, and technological foundations.
These experiences highlight something essential:
the evolution of surgery depends not only on technique, but on education, communication, and a deep understanding of concepts.

Dos eventos recientes marcaron un nuevo paso en la expansión de la cirugía de preservación de tejido en la región ibero-latinoamericana.
🇵🇦 Congreso FILACP Panamá 2026
Durante este importante encuentro, se presentó una conferencia magistral sobre Breast Tissue Preservation y cirugía con incisiones mínimas, compartiendo los fundamentos anatómicos, conceptuales y tecnológicos que están redefiniendo la cirugía mamaria.
🌎 Transmisión en vivo desde el Centro de Innovación Sulayom
En un segundo evento, el Dr. Giovanni Herrera realizó dos cirugías en vivo, transmitidas a una audiencia de más de 400 cirujanos de Latinoamérica e Iberoamérica.
Los participantes pudieron observar y comprender cómo detrás de un procedimiento que aparenta simplicidad existe una profunda base científica, tecnológica y anatómica.
Estos espacios reflejan algo fundamental:
la evolución de la cirugía no solo depende de la técnica, sino de la educación, la comunicación y el entendimiento profundo de los conceptos.
