Beauyoga is a YOGA practice that is based principally on HATHA (1) yoga and also includes VINYASA (2) Yoga and CONSCIOUS MOVEMENTS. All the asanas, flow movements, pranayama, visualization, meditation and final relaxation are specifically designed in each class to improve your overall Well-being transforming your energy and vibration in the best possible way towards each session purpose.
All the practice is infused with ANCESTRAL WISDOM that integrates the most relevant information that you need for one main purpose: BE ALIGNED with your TRUE SELF which essence is PURE BLISS, LOVE and FULFILLMENT and acknowledge that your LIFE is part of the COSMOLOGY of the UNIVERSE.

(1) What is Hatha Yoga?
“Ha” means Sun and “Tha” means Moon. This is the yoga of harmony, balance moving your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility (Sun and Yang energy), while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness (Moon and Yin energy).
Hatha yoga brings overall wellbeing that works at different body levels creating calmness of the mind, spirit and body and a sense of wholeness at different levels:
· Physical level with the asanas or body postures that are specifically included in a specific sequence during the class to obtain the best benefits of the practice. Hatha Yoga places special emphasis on controlled breathing and posture. Building core strength, which is key to good posture, is another important aspect of this type of yoga. It also brings more flexibility to muscles and joints reducing the risks of injuries.
· Energetic level working with conscious breathing and conscious moving of the body that channels your energy to higher vibration realms.
· Mental and Emotional level as when you focus on your body and breathing your focus of whatever is going on in your emotional state gently transforms into higher vibrations.
· Spiritual level letting your true essence more space to dwell peacefully within your being through meditation, guided visualization and deep relaxation.
(2) What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa is an approach to yoga in which you move from one pose directly into the next. There’s a flow movement though the specific poses at a certain pace determined by the teacher in regard to the purpose of the exercise being faster and more physically challenging to bring up the energy levels and activate the sympathetic nervous system or slower to bring more calmness and relaxation to the flow in that case activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
What is Beaudance?
Sundara Biodance is a well-being body mind and soul dance system of self-development and self-realization that combines dance, mindfulness and inspiring music to empower your vitality creativity, playfulness, affection, sense of transcendence and connection with yourself and the world around you. It helps you to get awareness of the blocking and limiting patterns stored in the subconscious body-mind expressed by the body to be able to transform them by uplifting movements that activate positive thoughts, beliefs, behaviours and habits that uplift your life in all aspects.
Sundara means Beauty in Sanskrit. It’s the dance of the Beauty within and around us, taking off the layers and the blocks that make it more difficult to tap into the jewel inside us. This practice welcomes everybody who wants to have fun while dancing with a connected and open-hearted group.
What are the benefits of a Biodance session? There are many benefits that you can get from a Biodance session at all levels:
· Body awareness: Getting in touch with our bodies and the way the different parts of our body move, so we can modify the way we move in different circumstances and our body posture when we get aware that they are holding us back.
· Physical health: Regular practice of Biodance strengthens the immune system, balances blood pressure, regulates the physiological system and decrease stress and anxiety, actives the parasympathetic nervous system and improves good sleep.
· Energy awareness and balance: E-motion is energy in motion, if we change the way we move we change the way we feel and think about ourselves and the experience around us. In Sundara Biodance session we work the different chakras or energetic centres so we get our energy aligned and balanced.
· Emotional intelligence: Being aware of our feelings and letting go the repressed emotions that are stuck in the body, so we can be at peace with us and with everybody around us.
· Vitality: We raise our vitality by moving and dancing with pieces of music that makes us move all parts of our body, specially the legs and the feet. When we get connected with mother earth we build an energetic channel that feeds us making us feel healthier and full of life.
· Playfulness: We all were born being a bundle of joy, purity and vitality. What happens then? We start to put on masks to fit with whatever others think is the best for us. We bring back up our inner child through some of the dances and exercises of the session which are playful and make us forget of the seriousness of being adults. When we have the chance to play like a child we expand our brightness and fill with vitality and joy.
· Creativity: We become more creative and express our truth to the world when we let go of the expectations of ourselves and others about the result of our actions. This happens when we feel safe enough in the group to act as a child from our most authentic self without any expectations. This creativity upgrades and gets to the fullest potential when we can harmonize and connect both brain hemispheres, the right with all its intuition, imagination and ability to reach to higher states of consciousness and the left one that helps us to live in the material world structuring, planning, thinking and analysing whatever it´s in our mind. Both are powerful when we can merge all these capacities within our daily actions.
· Energy balance between masculine and feminine polarities: All the beings and things existing in the universe are made of these two energies. When these both polarities are out of balance for excess or defect, the energy is not coherent and harmonious and doesn’t flow in the best way. Some of the exercises and dances together with specific music help us to restore the balance of yin-feminine and yang-masculine so we can be whole no matter if we are a woman or a man.
· Thoughts awareness: We can realize what old patterns and negative thinking are limiting our life so we can shake them and let them go while we dance and open space to new positive believes and thoughts that will lead us to a life full of happiness, peace of mind and growth.
· Group connection: It is created a unique soul connection between the people that dance together as the masks are put away and the members of the group get fully present with each other in heart and soul. There are specific practices that focus on the kindness and caring between each other that enhances the innate feeling of love and intimacy within and with others.
· Sensuality and Attraction: some Biodance practices work on exploring our sensuality and raise our capacity of enjoy all pleasures of life. The more we enjoy ourselves the more we can attract people, experiences and things we love for us to our lives.
· Mindfulness: Each Biodance session is infused of mindfulness from the very first minute until the end and even after the session is finished. Through conscious dancing we pay full attention on what we are doing, feeling and thinking through the different kind of dances and music and we get aware of the thoughts and emotions and movements that emerge from our subconscious mind with no judgment, being present with whatever is occurring in each moment.
· Power of manifestation: We can become the co-creators of our life in all aspects by manifesting the reality we chose by getting aware of our limiting blueprints and patterns that hold us back and keep us limited in a small personality. We can choose to unblock them through declarations, positive thinking and uplifting body movements. The Subconscious body-mind constitutes the 95% of our mind, thoughts and daily actions storing patterns and programs that express themselves by our daily habits and actions. The awareness of these programs leads to the decision to change them by positive and healthy habits that manifest a life full of purpose.
· Wholeness: The balance between the four main bodies (physical body, creative energy, emotional and mental) is what makes our spirit feel completely alive, healthy and whole.
· Transcendence or connection the Oneness: We really can feel this connection with our higher self and the universe through specific exercises and movements together with very inspiring pieces of music that elevate our soul and make all our cells vibrate in a very high frequency feeling the oneness within us.
How is structured Biodance session? Every session is different as there are so many different practices, exercises and pieces of music.
o The practice starts with a mindful meditation to create a Heart connection within and in the group.
o The teacher explains the main purpose of the session and the guidelines to the group.
o The group move and dance through different movements, rhythms, sensations and states of mind organized in a natural and organic way.
o After each dance everyone has some minutes to be aware of how they feel and be with it in presence and mindfulness.
o Finally, there is a brief feedback of the experiences of the group and a loving closing of the session.
Part of the dances are free following some guidelines, other practices are more specific following the instructions of the teacher. Every exercise and dance have each own purpose to make the body work out in different ways and to get awareness of the feelings and emotions that rise with each practice and the consciousness or lesson that can be learned in each experience.
