Kamadeva is a God of love and pleasure. His sacral vehicle is parrots in a carridge. As a cupid ( appeared much later in human culture), he strikes people with arrows of love.
Parrots represent love, freedom, and communication. Strangely enough love and freedom simultaneously.
I don't believe in relationships with out at list a bit of attachment. I don't believe in radical independence, as we are social creatures. We depend on each other one way or another if we like it or not. But I believe in inner freedom, which can cause love naturally, effortlessly. But freedom may also mean rejection, loneliness, misunderstanding, and conflict. Can you sacrifice the comfort of fake relationships for the freedom of your individuality ? Can you be free enough to fully love what is, rather than hide in a prison of idealized archetypes? Freedom doesn't mean lack of responsibility, unatachment, geographical ability to move around, or right to show any kind of behavior without moral code, empathy, and kindness. Freedom is an inner state that can not be affected by any restrictions or influences of the outside world. Freedom is a space of quietness that expands. Freedom is the ability to stay unbothered while you are conditioned or not conditioned. Free when you own or you don't own something. Freedom when you are loved, accepted, or not loved, accepted. I believe that from that source, love can grow. Therefore, no love can be experienced without freedom. Without inner freedom. Having no standards while choosing a partner, promiscuousity, letting others mistreat you, or being in unstable relationships has nothing to do with freedom. Being responsible, able to cope with routine, planning things ahead, and relying on other people doesn't mean you are not free. When you are truly free inside, you can love yourself, and you can love your partner, your environment, your past, and possible future. Finally reaching agape.
Greek agapē, in the New Testament, the love of God for humans, as well as the human reciprocal love for God. In Scripture, the transcendent agape love is the highest form of love.
