😱 Most people waste Day 1.
They get off the plane. They check their phone. They see 47 messages. They answer three. They eat something they shouldn't.
They're back.
Just like that, the ceremony is already fading.
👉 Here's what Day 1 is really for. It's not for catching up. It's not for telling people what happened. It's not for figuring out what the visions meant.
Day 1 is for landing. Full stop.Your nervous system just went through something enormous.
It needs time to catch up. The worst thing you can do is immediately drop back into the same speed, the same noise, the same routines that made you want a retreat in the first place.
What actually works on Day 1:
No phone for the first two hours after you wake up. Eat something simple and real. Drink more water than you think you need. Write three sentences. Not an essay. Three sentences about what you're carrying home. Then sit somewhere quiet for 20 minutes and do nothing.
That's it.
Sounds too simple, right? That's because your brain wants to make it complicated. Complicated feels productive. But integration is the opposite of productivity. It's the practice of slowing down long enough for the shift to actually land.
Day 1 sets the tone for everything that follows. Blow it rushing back to normal, and you spend the next week chasing a feeling that was right there when you walked off that plane.
