My two non-negotiable beauty rituals ✨

Why I’m a Holistic Esthetician Who Supports the Sun ☀️

One of the first questions I ask my clients isn’t about products…
It’s about sunlight.
Do you get sun?
What time of day?
On your skin?
In your eyes (yes, gently and safely)?
Because the sun isn’t the enemy ,disconnection is.
Sunlight is one of our most powerful regulators of health. It sets our circadian rhythm, which governs hormones, sleep quality, digestion, mood, skin repair, and even how well your skin heals and regenerates. When your circadian rhythm is off, no serum or facial can fully compensate.
I’m deeply intentional about which sun we get, when we get it, and how we interact with it. Morning sun tells your body it’s time to wake up, balance cortisol, and prepare your skin for the day. Natural light on bare skin helps regulate inflammation, supports vitamin D production, and communicates directly with your nervous system.
This is also why I’m cautious about blocking the sun completely or relying on toxic SPFs that disrupt hormones, burden the liver, and interfere with the skin’s natural intelligence. Skin is not meant to be sealed off ,it’s meant to communicate with the environment.
Holistic skincare isn’t about fighting nature.
It’s about working with it.
