Surrender and faith are two of the most important pieces of any healing protocol.

Because healing takes time.

It’s not for the faint of heart. It’s a journey that will test you.

Obsessing, micromanaging every symptom, googling at 2am, tracking every twinge.

That stress response alone will keep you stuck.

Real healing happens when you combine the strategies such as diet, circadian optimization, hydration, nervous system work with something most people skip:

Surrender. And faith.

Surrendering to the symptoms as they move through you.

Trusting that your body knows what it’s doing. Having faith that you’re on the path toward healing AND toward creating the life you actually want.

You can’t white-knuckle your way to wellness.

The healing happens in the letting go.

Fear is an illusion.

It’s not real — it’s a story your mind creates.

F.E.A.R. = False Evidence Appearing Real.

Most of what you fear never actually happens.

Your brain is just running simulations from the past trying to keep you “safe”, but in doing so, it keeps you stuck.

Fear is the guard dog of your comfort zone.

It barks every time you get close to real growth.

But on the other side of fear is everything you’ve ever wanted.

Peace. Freedom. Love. Purpose.

Feel the fear.

Do it anyway.

That’s how you break free.

I was diagnosed with IBS and told there was no cure.

Just manage it.

Maybe try low FODMAP. Probably for the rest of my life.

I no longer have IBS.

Here’s the truth..

IBS isn’t a diagnosis. It’s a label. It means “we don’t know what’s wrong with your gut.” That’s it.

The label doesn’t address the root cause.

Because the medical system isn’t trained to look for root causes.

Here’s what IBS actually is, when you investigate properly:

👉 SIBO (hydrogen, methane, or hydrogen sulfide)
👉 Candida overgrowth
👉 Parasites
👉 H. pylori
👉 Leaky gut
👉 Low stomach acid and digestive enzymes
👉 Sluggish bile flow
👉 Vagus nerve dysfunction
👉 Past food poisoning damaging the migrating motor complex
👉 Chronic stress and a dysregulated nervous system
👉 Hormonal imbalances affecting motility

Usually it’s several of these at once.

The reason IBS feels “incurable” is because nobody is investigating which of these are actually present.

They run a basic stool test, find nothing acute, and send you home with a label and no real plan.

My healing came when I stopped accepting the label and started asking deeper questions.

Comprehensive bloodwork. GI MAP testing. Pairing the data with my symptoms. Addressing the right systems in the right order.

If you’ve been told you’ll just have to live with IBS, you don’t.

You just need someone willing to investigate properly.

Each one helped temporarily, then the symptoms came back. Real healing isn’t about killing the bad stuff. It’s about rebuilding the terrain that lets the bad stuff take over in the first place.

2️⃣ Bloodwork is more important than any test.

Stool tests, hair analysis, food sensitivity panels.

They all have their place.

But comprehensive bloodwork paired with symptoms tells you 95% of what you need to know.

Affordable, accessible, accurate. Start there.

3️⃣ Stress will undo every protocol.

I tried to white-knuckle through stressful seasons while doing all the “right” protocols.

Nothing worked.

No diet, no supplement, no cleanse can outwork a dysregulated nervous system.

Nervous system work isn’t optional.

4️⃣ There’s no one-size-fits-all protocol.

Carnivore. Low-FODMAP. GAPS. AIP. Probiotics. No probiotics.

Each works for some people and fails others.

The healing accelerated when I let go.

Surrendering doesn’t mean stop trying. It means stop gripping.

I had brain fog for 3 years.

I thought I was just getting older.

Just stressed.

Just doing too much.

I’d walk into rooms and forget why I was there.

Lose my train of thought mid-sentence.

Read the same paragraph three times. Forget words I’d known my whole life.

Doctors told me everything was fine. My bloodwork looked “normal.” I was offered an antidepressant.

Here’s what actually fixed it.

1️⃣ I healed my gut.

LPS endotoxin from gut bacteria was crossing my blood-brain barrier and creating neuroinflammation.

Until I sealed my gut, my brain stayed inflamed.

2️⃣ I addressed candida.

Acetaldehyde from candida overgrowth is a known neurotoxin. It disrupts dopamine, GABA, and serotonin.

My brain couldn’t function while my gut was producing toxins.

3️⃣ I optimized my thyroid.

My TSH looked fine. My Free T3 was tanking. Low T3 means slow brain.

Once I addressed the gut-thyroid connection, the fog started lifting.

4️⃣ I supported my mitochondria.

Brain cells have massive energy demands.

When mitochondria are damaged from chronic inflammation, your brain literally runs out of power.

5️⃣ I anchored my circadian rhythm.

Morning sun. Dark nights. Sleep on a schedule.

Without proper circadian rhythm, your brain can’t detox properly while you sleep.

The fog didn’t lift in a week. It lifted in layers over months.

Until one day I could think clearly again.

If you’re stuck in this, you’re not broken. Your brain is asking for help.

And the help isn’t in your head. It’s in your gut, your thyroid, your mitochondria, and your nervous system.

A lot of what we’re seeing today didn’t happen by accident.

It was planned.

A slow sequence designed to keep people disconnected, exhausted, and easy to control.

But the truth is that you don’t have to play into it.

One of your strongest forms of resistance is your health.

Healthy people think clearly.

Healthy people trust their intuition.

Healthy people are harder to manipulate.

When your body and mind are in coherence, you can sense truth from deception.

But when you’re sick, inflamed, stressed, and disconnected from nature, you become vulnerable to fear and programming.

That’s exactly why society markets the things that make us sick.

Reclaiming your health is how you reclaim your power.

Start with the basics:

👉 Eat real, single-ingredient foods
👉 Get sunlight & nature daily
👉 Surround yourself with people who lift you
👉 Meditate
👉 Hydrate with quality water

Do this consistently and you become harder to control and more capable of changing the world around you.

If you’re chronically constipated, more fiber probably isn’t going to fix it.

And for a lot of people, it actually makes things worse.

Pooping is one of your main detox pathways. If you’re not going 2-3 times daily, you’re reabsorbing hormones, toxins, and metabolic waste.

That’s what’s driving your skin, mood, brain fog, and inflammation.

Not stress. Not aging. Not “just how your body is.”

Why fiber fails:

👉 Methane SIBO. Fiber feeds the microbes that are slowing your gut down.
👉 Sluggish bile flow. Fiber sits in a backed-up system.
