Eternal Memory of Niš
Memories are the imprint of a time, an experience, and a shield against forgetting. Grade 9 students, during the period of October 5–9, 2025, wrote unforgettable pages of their primary school memories. They spent their final school trip in Niš and its surroundings. The history and rich tradition of this region—which dates back to ancient times—its culture, exhibitions, historical and civilizational monuments, natural beauties and wonders, such as Đavolja Varoš, left a strong impression on the students of Ruđer. Evenings were dedicated to movies, theatre performances, city walks, and socializing in their rooms. Witty and devoted to fun, the students charmed their class teachers, chaperones, doctor, and trip leader. Smiles will remain on everyone’s faces, as well as in their memories of five wonderful days of the Niš school trip.

Успомене су печат једног времена, доживљаја и отклон од заборава. Ученици
Grade 9 су у периоду 5.10-9.10.2025.г. исписали незаборавне странице свог основношколског сећања. Последњу екскурзију провели су у Нишу и околини. Историја, богата традиција овог краја - која сеже до античких времена - култура, изложбе, споменици историје и цивилизације, природне лепоте и чуда, попут Ђавоље вароши, утицали су снажно на руђеровце. Вечери су биле посвећене филму, позоришној представи, шетању по граду, дружењу по собама. Духовити, предани забави, ученици су разоружавали разредне старешине, пратиоце, лекарку и вођу пута. Осмех ће зато свима бити на уснама и у сећању на пет дивних нишких екскурзијских дана.

Big and small, let's play
On September the 30th, at our school, the traditional sports event "Big and small, let's play" was held.
We organized another gathering of parents, students and teachers of Grade 1 and Grade 2. They tested themselves in dexterity and speed training grounds, organized on the schoolstudents and teachers of Grade 1 and Grade 2.
They showed their skills and abilities and spent a wonderful warm afternoon socializing and in sporting atmosphere.

Interclass Table Tennis Tournament
During September, upper-grade elementary school students competed in table tennis.
This year’s interclass tournament concluded on October 3rd, and the best results were achieved by:
Boys’ category – Andrej Kovačević (9A)
Girls’ category – Jovana Milanka Marković (9A)
The tournament was filled with a great atmosphere – we socialized, cheered, and had fun together.
We congratulate all participants for their determination and fair play, and especially the winners!
We look forward to the next interclass sports competitions with great anticipation.

Međuodeljenski turnir u stonom tenisu
Tokom septembra učenici starijih razreda osnovne škole takmičili su se u stonom tenisu. Trećeg oktobra završeno je ovogodišnje međuodeljenjsko takmičenje, a najbolje rezultate ostvarili su:
u muškoj konkurenciji – Andrej Kovačević (9A)
u ženskoj konkurenciji – Jovana Milanka Marković (9A)
Tokom turnira vladala je odlična atmosfera – družili smo se, navijali i zabavljali.
Čestitamo svim učesnicima na borbenosti i fer-pleju, a posebno pobednicima!
Sa nestrpljenjem iščekujemo nova međuodeljenjska sportska nadmetanja.

ÖSD Certificate Award Ceremony
On Tuesday, September 23, our school organized a formal award ceremony for a group of students attending German language classes, who successfully passed the ÖSD exam. We congratulate our hardworking students on their achievement and wish them continued success at the next levels!

Another scientific paper by our student Nađa Vesić has been published in the international academic journal Philosophies. The title of the published article is: “Revisiting Kant's Conception of Political Freedom and Its Relation to the Practical Concept of Freedom from the Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals”, and it belongs to the field of political philosophy.

Још један научни рад наше ученице Нађе Весић објављен је у међународном академском часопису Philosophies. Наслов објављеног чланка гласи: „Ревизирање Кантовог концепта политичке слободе и њеног односа на практични концепт слободе од темеља метафизике морала“, и припада пољу политичке филозофије.

Today me and my class went on a hike in Kosutnjak and it was challenging but a fun experience with my friends! There was a big slope at one point at which we were all tripping and helping each other to climb down, and it was a very funny and bonding experience for everyone! Safe to say I am very excited to go again soon!

Grade 5 on a Field Trip to Baranda
Grade 5 students went on a field trip to Baranda on Wednesday, September 17. The students visited the estate “Baranda NESTvarno”, located in a beautiful setting within the village of Baranda.
The estate features a traditional Vojvodina-style house, as well as three cottages and two teepees, along with basketball and football fields.
Programs were organized as a combination of educational and sports activities. A lecture on traditional crafts and a visit to the farm were just some of the activities the students enjoyed. A carriage ride was especially exciting.
The students had the opportunity to experience village life, learn about the Baranda area, enjoy outdoor games, taste Banat specialties, and meet the storks, the favorite inhabitants of this unrealistically beautiful place.

Grade 5 na izletu u Barandi
Učenici Grade 5 bili su na izletu u Barandi u sredu 17. septembra. Đaci su posetili imanje ,,Baranda
NESTvarno“ koje se nalazi u predivnom okruženju u okviru sela Baranda.
Na imanju se nalazi kuća u vojvođanskom stilu, kao i tri kućiće i dva vigvama, košarkaški i fudbalski
tereni.
Organizovani su programi koji su kombinacija obrazovno – edukativnih i sportskih aktivnosti. Predavanje
o starim zanatima, poseta farmi, samo su neke od aktivnosti u kojima su đaci uživali. Posebno je bila
uzbudljiva vožnja fijakerom. Đaci su imali priliku da osete život na selu, steknu znanja o području
Barande, uživaju u igrama na otvorenom, probaju banatske specijalitete i upoznaju rode, omiljene
stanovnike ovog nestvarno lepog mesta.

Petar Lubarda Legacy
On September 18th, our high school students visited the Petar Lubarda Legacy. Art is important, and reflecting on what the artist wanted to express is a step forward to which our engaging curator invited us.

Rethink Your Drink
As part of the theme “Who We Are”, Grade 4 students took part in an engaging research project called “Rethink Your Drink.”
The activity began with a survey in which students listed their favorite drinks and made guesses about how much sugar they contain. Then, they carefully analyzed the nutrition labels on the packaging and compared their expectations with the actual data.
To make the results clearer, they created posters showing the exact amount of sugar in each drink. The project sparked lively classroom discussions and encouraged students to think about how their everyday choices affect their health.

Rethink your drink
U okviru teme „Ko smo mi“ učenici Grade 4 učestvovali su u zanimljivom istraživačkom projektu pod nazivom „Rethink Your Drink“. Aktivnost je započela anketom u kojoj su učenici izdvojili svoje omiljene napitke i dali pretpostavke o tome koliko šećera oni sadrže. Potom su pažljivo analizirali deklaracije na ambalaži i uporedili svoja očekivanja sa stvarnim podacima. Kako bi rezultate učinili što jasnijim, izradili su plakate na kojima su prikazali pravu količinu šećera u svakom piću.
Projekat je uneo živu diskusiju u učionicu i podstakao učenike da
razmišljaju o tome kako njihove svakodnevne odluke utiču na zdravlje.

Our student Petar Tolimir has won the silver medal at the 8th International Conference of Young Social Scientists, held in Belgrade from August 21–27, 2025.

Students from around the world competed in the fields of Psychology, Sociology, Geography, History, and Economics. Petar presented his research in Geography, entitled: “Investigating the Social Integration of Russian Students in Serbian High School Environments”.

We are incredibly proud of Petar’s dedication and success, and we wish him the very best in all his future endeavors!

Sa velikim ponosom delimo sjajne vesti!

Naš učenik Petar Tolimir osvojio je srebrnu medalju na 8. Međunarodnoj konferenciji mladih naučnika iz oblasti društvenih nauka, koja je održana u Beogradu od 21. do 27. avgusta 2025. godine.

Učesnici su se takmičili i predstavljali svoje radove iz oblasti psihologije, sociologije, geografije, istorije i ekonomije. Petar je nastupio sa naučnim radom iz oblasti geografije: „Ispitivanje socijalne integracije ruskih učenika u srednjoškolskom okruženju u Srbiji“.

Neizmerno smo ponosni na Petrovu posvećenost i uspeh i želimo mu još mnogo ovakvih dostignuća u budućnosti!
