What is a yogi? It is one that lives by the yamas and niyamas, that studies to understand the self and to attain samadhi. One who practises all eight limbs of yoga. Understanding it is a life long journey. It is important to not throw around the word yoga, as meaning asanas, or an exercise. It is the oldest discipline known to us. It is a science, it is a way of life. Use words with knowledge.

Who says you only need ice to skate. You only need to step out of all your self impossed boxes and remove your filtered glasses through which you see the world, to know that life holds more than you imagined. Who ever thought you could skate in the crater of a volcano.
When you come to your mat. Come without judgement. Accept your body with all its limitations. It houses your soul so be kind to it. Begin to transform it slowly and patiently. And remember it will grow older, but your soul your spirit don't have to age with it. So be kind to your body. Take care of it, but don't attach who you are and who to seek to be, to it.

Today all I ask is this. Observe your words. The phrases you use. I, me, we, our, us. Then as you observe, observe the emotions being attached to the words, love, anger, jealousy, gratitude. Then ask your self were your words truth, lies, gossip. Then sit down and take a moment to ask yourself what did you learn about yourself today. Be honest with yourself.
Do you really what to know yourself, or do you keeping moving, keep the noise around you, because you are afraid of what you may see, when you sit in silence and just observe. It's a good thing to know if you truely love yourself or not.

Imagine our paradise, waking up to a view or the sound of the Atlantic ocean at its finest. An island filled with white sandy beaches, friendly people, a laid back atmosphere, a small village filled with diverse restaurants and bars, and most important it’s safe. Now imagine being able to expand your yoga on the beach and in our studio while vacationing on this island. A destination which is quickly becoming a playground for those wanting to relax, eat, dance, or engage in adventurous water sports.Our studio is home to three different advanced certified instructors in Hatha, Ashtanga, Inyengar, Vinyasa and Baptiste Power Yoga. We all have very different personalities as well as unique teaching styles and insights into the multiple ways in which you can stretch and strengthen your body and mind.
In all our classes we show you how to get into a pose, how to align your body correctly, how to breathe in a pose and how to get out of the pose. No matter what age or gender you are, your body will appreciate our classes! All the classes are an excellent mix of humour, energy and quietness. Must be able to breathe and touch your knees, without passing out. We now also offer small sunrise yoga classes on the beach.
We get asked this question a lot. Our Yoga is JUST YOGA. Stretch and strengthen your muscles and joints, while learning to breathe correctly, and focus your mind. Our yoga does not aim to exhaust or torture you. The goal of our classes is to leave you feeling longer, stronger, highly relaxed with well oiled joints, tendons, and a mind that does not behave as if it were on some speed drug.
Every single class is different. We offer beginner classes as well as all level classes. This year we will also offer 1.5hour classes that are a little more challenging, but not the kind that requires you to wrap your leg around your neck. If you are new to yoga start with a beginner class or a morning class. If you have the chance try all our instructors. It is a rare opportunity to have such a varying exposure to yoga in one studio.
The group yoga classes will take place in our studio. While the small group (max 6 people) classes will take place on the beach at our kite school in the beach club of the Morabeza hotel
