Over the past 5 years, WannaGrow assessed the TeamCulture of 30 teams across 5 Caribbean islands: Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, and Statia.

We engaged nearly 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 to explore how they experience:
🔹 Trust
🔹 Conflict
🔹 Commitment
🔹 Accountability
🔹 Performance.. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆: how happy they feel at work.

Our approach is grounded in Patrick Lencioni’s vision on High Performance Teams and enriched with our own methods to capture the heartbeat of team culture.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗻.

Vanaf 1 augustus 2025 is het fictief rendement voor de Curaçaose Beleggingsvennootschap (CBV) verhoogd van 4% naar 10%. Ook is de gebruikelijkloonregeling uitgebreid naar voorheen vrijgestelde vennootschappen. Deze wijziging heeft fiscale gevolgen voor aandeelhouders van een Curaçaose beleggingsvennootschap (CBV) en directeur-grootaandeelhouders van vennootschappen. REMINDER UBO REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2025
Reminder of the obligation to submit registration of ultimate beneficial owners of legal entities and legal arrangements in the UBO register.

Mandatory registration in the UBO register –final date: September 30, 2025

In the National Decree on UBO Registration of June 7, 2024, it was established that all existing legal entities and other bodies that were already registered in the Commercial Register on that date are required to register their ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) within one year. The Minister of Finance has extended the deadline for this registration up to and including September 30, 2025.

Important:
• The board of the entity is responsible for timely and accurate registration. This also applies to existing inactive entities.
• Request your CRIB number in time from the Tax Authorities; there are no exceptions for CRIB numbers.
• New entities must complete their UBO registration (or have it done) within 14 days of incorporation/establishment.
• Sole proprietorships (eenmanszaak) are exempt from the registration requirement.

The Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry has set up an online portal for UBO registration:

The portal provides step-by-step instructions and lists the required documents. Detailed manuals and additional information are also available on this website, along with the Sanctions Policy.
