TC Soft Tissue Therapy Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy - Fully Insured -
ISRM Registered -
Extensive experience and knowledge of contact sport and recovery. Taff Cheedy

Thank you for visiting my page. I qualified as a Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist through OSSM (Oxford School of Sports Massage) and am a recognised member of the Institute of Soft Tissue Therapists. Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation, and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury. Sports massage helps release muscle tightness, focusing on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity and reducing muscle tension. Each session is tailored within a framework of:
• Injury Assessment
• Advanced Treatment Techniques
• Remedial Exercises and Advice

I have extensive experience with contact sports - as a player (now retired), pitch side support (training and matchday) and pre/post therapy with both the codes of rugby from grassroots to RAF Inter Services and local teams. My services have also been required by athletes completing marathons and competing in Triathlon and Ironman events, footballers and those who are in pain from poor posture or non-sport related injury or lifestyle. You do not have to suffer with pain! I offer one off, medium or long term treatment plans tailored to your needs following an initial assessment. Please get in touch for more information or to make an initial appointment.

🙌Focus on - Dry Cupping🙌

Cupping is a traditional treatment that is safe, comfortable, and effective for many health disorders.

📷 see individual images for more information

🙌What is it?
Dry Cupping is a technique that uses negative pressure (suction) to release stagnant/stuck blood and fluid from tissue and bring it to the surface to be carried out through the circulation and lymphatic systems. This allows new oxygenated blood to flow into the area and bring nutrients to the area to promote healing.

🙌How is dry cupping performed?
Korean suction cups are placed on a selected area and create a vacuum seal on the skin. This creates the pulling effect of drawing fluids to the surface.

🙌Is Dry Cupping suitable for everyone?
There are certain conditions which may make cupping unsuitable. This is discussed prior to any treatment.

🙌Does Dry Cupping hurt?
It shouldn't be painful. If you feel any physical discomfort please let Taff know.

🙌Does Dry Cupping cause bruises?
The possibility of discolorations that can occur from the release and clearing of stagnation and toxins from my body. This reaction is not bruising, but due to cellular debris, pathogenic factors and toxins being drawn to the surface to be clear away by my circulatory systems. The discolorations will dissipate from a few hours to as long as 2 weeks in some cases.

🙌What areas of the body can Dry Cupping be used?
Dry cupping is a versatile therapy that can be applied to many areas of the body. It is most commonly used on the back, neck, shoulders, and legs.

If you've had treatment it would be great if you could leave a review! 😁 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Be it for an Initial Assessment, follow up or maintenance, sports related, work or lifestyle, posture or medical - all welcome. If you've had dry cupping it would be great if you could share your experience. As no one has been in touch with any issues or concerns from treatments hopefully they will all be good 😆

Thanks 🙌
