in Vitro Fertilization (Test-tube baby or ivf) treatment is to fertilize male and female reproductive cells in a laboratory environment to have a baby. In order to have an IVF treatment healthy reproductive cells (eggs and s***m) from both the female and male partner are required. Eggs of the female are grown and developed to be ready in about ten days (ovulation induction, controlled over stimulation) . Then, through a basic surgical procedure called oocyte (egg) retrieval, female reproductive cells are transferred to a laboratory environment (the OPU method) . If s***m concentration is too low or if there is no s***m in the semen (azoos***mia) s***m can be extracted from the te**es via a surgical operation by help of a microscope. Eggs of the female and s***m from the male are then fertilized in a laboratory environment to produce the embryo (fetus) (insemination). Embryos developed in this way are, then, transferred to the uterus with a special catheter so that pregnancy is started (embryo transfer).

✨ How Is Embryo Selection Done in IVF? ✨

One of the most important steps in IVF treatment is embryo selection. 🔬
So, which embryo is the most suitable for transfer?

✅ Quality Assessment: Embryos are evaluated based on cell number, division rate, and appearance.
✅ Genetic Screening (PGT): When necessary, embryos are analyzed for genetic health.
✅ Expert Decision: Embryo selection is carefully performed by our experienced embryologists and doctors.

At every step, our goal is to increase success rates and achieve a healthy pregnancy in the safest way possible. 💛

Some motherhoods don't begin suddenly…

They grow with patience, tears, and hope.

Hearts broken anew every month,

But a belief that never gives up…

And one day, that miracle comes. 🤍

Because some stories begin late…

But are felt most deeply.

👶✨ A healthy pregnancy begins with proper follow-up!

Pregnancy is one of the most special and sensitive periods in life for both the mother and the baby. Regular check-ups and prenatal tests carried out during this time are of great importance to closely monitor your baby’s development and to detect potential risks at an early stage.

Thanks to prenatal tests:
✔️ Your baby’s development is evaluated in detail
✔️ Genetic and structural risks can be identified early
✔️ The mother’s health is protected and possible complications are prevented
✔️ A more conscious and safe preparation for birth is ensured

Remember, early diagnosis saves lives. Regular follow-up should not be neglected for a healthy pregnancy. 💙

💧✨ March 22 World Water Day

🤰 Why is water consumption so important during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, your body works not only for you but also for your baby. In this period, adequate water intake plays a critical role in both the mother’s health and the baby’s development.

💙 Water consumption:
• Helps maintain amniotic fluid balance
• Reduces the risk of swelling and constipation
• Supports blood circulation
• Contributes to lowering the risk of preterm birth
• Facilitates the transport of nutrients and oxygen to the baby

🚨 Not drinking enough water may lead to fatigue, headaches, and urinary tract infections.

🌿 Remember: About 2–2.5 liters of water per day is recommended for a healthy pregnancy (may vary per individual).

📍 Proper information and regular follow-up are essential for a healthy pregnancy.

🧬 Diagnostic Methods for Down Syndrome in the IVF Process

Every pregnancy is unique, and accurate information is essential for a healthy start. Down syndrome is a genetic variation, and with today’s advanced medical methods, risk assessment can be performed both before and during pregnancy.

Thanks to Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) used in IVF treatment, embryos can be genetically evaluated before transfer. This method helps identify chromosomal differences such as Down syndrome and supports a more informed and controlled process.

After pregnancy occurs:
🔍 First and second trimester screening tests
🧪 NIPT (Non-invasive prenatal testing from maternal blood)
🩺 Advanced diagnostic tests when necessary

can be used for risk assessment.

✨ The goal is to support a healthy pregnancy and provide families with accurate and reliable information. We are with you every step of the way.
