Καθώς ο παγκόσμιος πληθυσμός συνεχίζει να αυξάνεται, η πρόκληση μας δεν θα πρέπει να είναι πώς να καλλιεργήσουμε περισσότερα τρόφιμα, αλλά να ταΐσουμε περισσότερους ανθρώπους, ενώ σπαταλάμε λιγότερα από αυτά που ήδη παράγουμε.

Δείτε στην παρακάτω περιγραφή ποιες ενέργειες μπορείτε να κάνετε για να μειώσετε τη σπατάλη τροφίμων σήμερα.!

1. Ψωνίστε έξυπνα: Προγραμματίστε εκ των προτέρων πριν πάτε για ψώνια και ελέγξτε ποια τρόφιμα έχετε ήδη στο σπίτι.

3. Μάθετε να συντηρείτε: Η κατάψυξη τροφίμων μπορεί να τα κάνει να διαρκέσουν περισσότερο. Τα κατεψυγμένα τρόφιμα είναι τόσο υγιεινά όσο και τα φρέσκα.
Ωστόσο, σημειώστε ότι η βιταμίνη C μπορεί να χαθεί ως αποτέλεσμα μακροχρόνιας κατάψυξης.

4. Στη δουλειά: Πάρτε ένα συσκευασμένο γεύμα σε επαναχρησιμοποιήσιμο Tupperware (ή οποιοδήποτε δοχείο) για να αποφύγετε την αγορά προσυσκευασμένων τροφίμων.
