HOLIDAY ART SCHOOL REPORT
Part of
ΝΕΑ EARTH воспоминание PROJECT
Introduction
The initial idea was to use the period of the Easter Holidays and share Add Colour Space with Children, to explore their creative potential and work together in an environment that allowed them the freedom to be themselves.
We offered them daily classes, activities and stimuli, as well as play time, freedom and advice to initialize their own projects. We functioned as guides and assistants in their projects and helped them utilize the resources of the space, in order to complete those projects.
This school is based on:
-Sharing knowledge in a variety of colourful and fun ways.
-Law of One. We are one team with shared responsibility.
-Law of free will. All are free to use their time creatively as they choose.
-Law of harmlessness to All.
Children Aged From 6 to 11 ( on some days a 3 and 5 year old showed up and merged perfectly with the team)

There were Assistants, that oversaw the well functioning of the school and were available to assist the children with any task.
Assistants
GEORGIA YUGEN
LEDA MAHERA
YASMIN MOSH
The children were creative, inventive and happy to have the freedom of choice. Some formed choreography groups and presented their performances. Others were more interested to create artworks for which research was done and guidance was given. These standard activities were happening simultaneously. For other activities like our morning circle of update, breakfast, lesson of the day or when our guest teachers would come, all the children chose to gather and participate.
Conclusions
Regarding the Children
The children were happy with the fact that they were allowed much more freedom than what they were used to. At the same time they were beginning to trust the fact that we were holding space for them to explore what their self really wanted to express and create. For these reasons, the work should continue and be allowed to evolve.
Regarding the Practical matters
Digital Art will also be added to the subjects offered.
Extra Materials will be offered for sale at the desk.
