If you follow me on TikTok you will have seen my Mounjaro journey so far.
Thought I would share on here to be transparent.
I have hypothyroidism/Hashimotos, I was diagnosed 3 years ago in Cyprus. That diagnosis came just as I was coming out of the tunnel that is the menopause!!! That was a double whammy & half!! I was the fittest I had ever been and the lowest weight I had been in years.
I then started to feel dreadful and was putting on weight day by day. My body constantly ached and I suffered with sciatica for a while.
The moment I got diagnosed with Hypothyroid I also started a strict gluten free diet so that this might address the inflammation in my body.

When I started my journey with Mounjaro 111 days ago I was 93.35kg & today I am 82.1kg

Mounjaro isn’t the easy fix many people think it is especially with thyroid issues. My portion sizes have reduced lots and I follow a calorie deficit. I have completely gone off chocolate & don’t enjoy gin&tonic as much as I used too 🤦‍♀️😂. When my body isn’t aching I try to walk as much as I can and I’m going to start low impact weights.

My goal is to lose another 5 kilos. I’m not wanting to be a skinny minny, just a healthy 60 year old( birthday tomorrow!!) so that I can continue living and loving life and be around for another 20/30 years ❤️🎉
