Anusara emphasises Universal Principles of Alignment which underlie all the physical asanas and are For this reason, classes are inspiring, energetic and fun.

Anusara means 'Flowing with grace', flowing from the heart and going with the flow. It is style of yoga firmly grounded in the science of bio-mechanics and a set of universal principles of alignment. This is integrated with the tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness. Each class has a heart-oriented theme, which has a meaningful connection to the spiritual purposes of the asana practice. Anusara teachers are dedicated to empowering students to unveil their innate goodness and abilities, through the practice of yoga. Emma Michael is an Anusara Elements qualified Teacher, meaning she has completed a 200hr teacher training and registered with the Anusara Society. She completed her training with Bridget Woods Kramer, the British representative of Anusara yoga.
